I dump out 7 refrigerators all under working condition. All refrigerators work fine without any service needed. This one dead within warrant.
Additional it is little wide then most of others 1/2 in extra.

Refrigerator has completely died 5 months after purchase. It's warmer in the refrigerator and freezer than it is in the room. Compressor kicks on for a few seconds and shuts back off. Light is intermittent.

Initially, I had issues with the temperature control, but I thought it was just taking some getting used to. When I was out of town, the freezer completely defrosted. This was just outside of my 1 year warranty so I thought I was out of luck. Now my freezer is continuously frosting over (have defrosted multiple times) and the refrigerator is not staying cool enough. There is always ice building up in the freezer and water dripping into the fridge. This refrigerator is a lemon!

Don't buy this fridge

This fridge has been a nightmare. It's a total lemon. It runs super cold even when set way below the minimum recommended setting. It builds up a ton of ice in the freezer. The vent between the freezer and fridge ends up with icicles and everything in the fridge gets frozen, then once it clogs up more the fridge gets too warm and the ice melts into the fridge. It's gross and it drips out onto the floor. The ice build up in the freezer makes it super loud when the fan comes on. Whirlpool sent out a guy to fix it but he came out several times and basically just defrosted it, which made it better for a couple of weeks. Finally he replaced a part and we thought it was better, but it wasn't. Whirlpool would have kept sending the guy back if I kept paying the $100/year to extend the warranty, but they weren't willing to replace the fridge.

Do not waste your money on this. I get it, you have a small space, you don’t have a huge budget.. but this was the worst refrigerator.
It never called food properly. It leaked. The defrost fan stopped working and completely ruined all of my food.
I had it repaired and ultimately had the same issues down the line.
No refrigerator would be better than this refrigerator.

Hello there. I created an account just to you how GOD-AWFUL this refrigerator is. I am thankfully renting, but will have to put up with this piece of crap for another year—and it's even a new fridge!
This poor excuse of an appliance has been nothing but trouble for me. Constant leakage from the fridge vents up top, down the wall of the fridge + onto the middle shelf, and under the crisper. If not caught in time, the water will begin leak all over the floor. The vents leak plenty of water in a day, too.
Meanwhile, the freezer vents can get icy and clogged, creating frost all over.
I am fairly certain the problem lies in a clogged defrost drain tube. Great! Problem diagnosed. This has not been a simple fix. bought a flipping dehumidifer to put inside the fridge, I have to chip away the ice in the freezer daily (totally safe!), and have to wipe down the inside of the fridge walls + under the crisper daily. One time, I should the fridge off for a day, let it defrost, and then plugged it back in. It worked for a couple months, and then the problem started all over again.
I WISH I COULD JUST BLOW THIS PIECE OF CRAP UP. When I move next, or when I purchase property of my own, you bet I will NEVER go for a fridge like this. And most likely not Whirlpool.
MASSIVE FAIL.

Bare bones refrigerator

This fridge is like the Ford Escort of refrigerators. It is small, the lighting is pitiful, the door storage is almost adequate. But if you are looking for a small bare bones refrigerator for a cheap price this is the way to go. We purchased it for a place holder because our 19 year old GE could not be repaired and we needed something to keep our food in and would fit in the space we had until we remodel the kitchen. Then we will upgrade to a more appropriate sized unit.

I had bought this more a little then three years ago. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I had trouble the first year. They came out to fix it and the try to say weren’t closeing the freezer correctly so it froze. So we had to throw all ate food out and defrost it. We do it probably 4 times out of the year we have to defrost it. It sucks because he have to throw are food away. We had to call them out again and the said the same thing that the top freezer isn’t close correctly. But the thing is nobody really goes in it. I’ll am say don’t get it unless you love you waste $100 of dollars of food. Just to defrost it every few months.

Horrible item and horrible customer service

This refrigerator is horrible. Leaked and stopped cooling. Has broken twice in a year. The protection plan is essentially useless. I have been on the phone with Best Buy for at least 10 hours over the course of two weeks. They have not resolved the issue. After ensuring the refrigerator would be fixed within two weeks of my claim date.2/3 service appointments were cancelled. They have not issued my exchange and have not provided a reimbursement for my spoiled groceries. This has been the most exhausting and horrible customer service experience. I will never shop at Best Buy again.

Purchased June 2021. Starting noticing water leaking from freezer to fridge in Oct 2023. Unplugged and opened inside panel of freezer. Ice formed in coils. Defrosted outside as food was on ice in ice chests. Plugged back in day 3. Still not cooling properly freezer or frig. DO NOT BUY. After reading all other comments this is a lemon. Things are now cheaply made and do not last. No need to post pics. I have seen others with same issues and no resolution but to toss in landfill which is shameful. Money blowing in the wind. REPEAT DO NOT BUY

I had this only for 3 months and the freezer stopped working and everything went bad in it. The fridge stopped getting cold right after. I wish i never spent money on it.

Huge disappointment with the maker and Best Buy. The freezer is super cold but i have had to throw out food several times because the refrigerator part just decides it doesnt want to cool anymore. Called Best Buy, 300.00 just to come and look at it. Thought to myself, If i had that kind of money, I'd just buy a new one. A repair person came and had to replace the motor(its only been 2 and a half years) and a month later, i have to throw out more food. After all the expense of trying to fix it, i find myself refrigerator shopping again.
Not happy at all!!

Not ready to give a review because I just purchased it! It does give out an LED light. I was used to see a regular light blub. Fridge technology has changed! I purchased this fridge because my Mother's Kenmore went out after 20 years of usage! I want this one to do the same! It's smaller than our old one but it has lots of storage space! Looks nice and is quiet. It does use less energy than our old one!

Save yourself from a headache. It works fine for a few months got in last year around October. Fits perfectly in small space. HOWEVER, the freezer gets really cold which then blocks the cold air from going to the bottom compartment. So, the freezes over even at the lowest setting. While, bottom compartment for produce is WARM. YOUR FOOD WILL GO BAD. Then you have to defrost, The Whole fridge every other week to get the bottom compartment to be cold again. It’s NOT WORTH the trouble and hassle.
