Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A little over a year after we purchased the fridge, water began to leak and freeze at the bottom of the freezer, embedding all of our food in ice. A certified technician came and quoted us over $600 for the repair, which is more than the cost of the fridge. Whirlpool said there was nothing that could be done since it's out of the one-year warranty. What a piece of junk!

My family and I had to put a chair in front of the fridge door so that it would stay closed. Now recently, the fridge part completely stopped working. The air is warm and food is not chilled or cold. The freezer part is working.

DON’T BUY to many issues

Freezer made frost after 6 month of purchase and now again same problem. Got it fix and it only worked for one day. I’m currently waiting for a repair once again. All my food went to waist and I currently can’t restock since it’s not working.

Don't waste money on Whirlpool appliances

Repair person was unable to fix it. This is the second Whirlpool fridge I bought that broke and couldn't be fixed. Big waste of money so I suggest getting a different brand.

Not worth it

Whirlpool fridge is garbage!
