The chest freezer was on back order meaning it is on high demand. However it was delivered on time as scheduled. I did a research on the features and performance and it came out perfect with wheels installed on for easy moving. The exterior looks great with temperatures Control functionality. The interior is perfect with the auto light fixture which lights up well at night especially in the dark room it has 3 useful baskets and compartment. Also additional accessories were included to help create and organize food items in this unique space within the 16 cubic chest freezer. Overall, it is a great chest freezer, with great performance and hope it continues functioning as currently. I love this Whirlpool product and would recommend it to all who have big family or need more space to store food. Thumbs up !!

It is an excellent freezer it is able to hold all the food we had in two freezer and takes up just the same amount of room in our garage. It is very quiet and when you open up the top the light automatically comes on letting you see everything in it. It was an excellent price and the gentleman came and placed it nicely in the corner. It was a great choice.

Replacing a 5 year-old 7cu ft freezer that sat inside the house, seeing this 16cu ft on sale was a no-brainer. PROS: * spacious!! * can work inside an unheated garage, now I can free up room * great price on sale (get the extended warranty if offered) * Three bins and four wire brackets (U-shaped things) are included, negating the need to buy aftermarket goodies CONS * May as well say something: This makes a little more noise than my old one, but nothing loud, clanging, or actually concerning. Just the usual gurgles. Plus, it's a larger unit. I did read up and new freezers can make louder noises at first. So this is more likely a FYI than anything. NOTES: * After a few weeks of use, am seeing more frost on the sides of the freezer than I'd expected. But this is a huge freezer, in a garage that can get humid, and the door is larger so it's easier for more air to come in and freeze up, * I tried the paper test on the rubber gasket. This test is where you place a piece of paper on the door and then close the door. Then try to pull paper out. If paper requires effort to pull out, then the seal is doing its job optimally.) A couple areas had the paper coming out somewhat easily, other areas required more effort. This could suggest the seal isn't evenly optimal. If you purchase and find it's a major problem, look up workarounds for the rubber gasket, or just call for warranty service (recommended) and let them ask the questions to determine severity/need to have it worked on. IMHO, this is not enough for any major concern and, inevitably, frost WILL form on the inside due to the size of this chest, combined with ambient room conditions. So either way, do expect to defrost this every couple of years or so. Definitely am happy.

This is the second one of these freezer / refrigerators we bought. We have a small poultry farm and this unit is perfect for our situation because these items live in the barn all year. being able to butcher and refrigerate for five days then move to the other in freezer mode is great. They are small enough that we often move one into the farm kitchen when the chickens or turkeys are fresh so we can server customers without a trip to the barn. Controls are easy to use, quality is good, temperatures are consistent. What can we say except we bought two.

This thing is massive, nice bright light and quiet. Works great so far. No complaints!

Freezer came with scuffs, scratches and small dents out of the box, but keeps very cold like it's supposed to. Makes a near constant low hum/gurgling sound, but I'm assuming this is within normal operation expectations. When the freezer was delivered, I asked the guy if it could be plugged in and operated right away. He said yes, and it wouldn't cause problems. HOWEVER I was already informed from other sources that when a freezer is turned in different orientations it needs to sit for a while so the fluids can settle properly. Just do your research and double check what the delivery guys say.

Working well. Have had it a few weeks, so don't know the long term situation, but pleased with the size and efficiency of the freezer. It replaces a 22 cu ft one we had for over 25 years. This one holds the temperature we set it at well (we wanted it at about -15F) while quietly running only periodically. I was pleasantly surprised by the option to have the baskets on provided racks for the bottom of the freezer. I plan to get some plastic dividers for them instead. Also pleased to find a defrosting tray included.

My son wanted this item. It was alot bigger than I anticipated and during delivery we noticed a small dent in the top but nothing that affected the way the freezer worked so we didn't report it. It works so well and we haven't been able to fill it up yet.

This freezer, which is quite roomy, was on sale for like $350 when I bought it. The next closest comparable product was $700 and the reviews were only fair. It's got a basket and keeps all my goods frozen, so far. The freezer it replaced was old, though very loud. I have to check this Whirlpool to make sure it's running, it's so quiet. I should have gotten a couple more.

so far so good. works well as deep freezer. i have not used it as refregerator. when I selected to full, temp was -18F. Best buy deliver was not so great thou, the associate was very unprofessional. it was missing drain so I asked him to mention that on delivery note before I will accept the delivery--he was upset as he had to do the delivery note again. after about the week best buy delivered me the drain cap.

Works great so far! Held our half cow easily and could probably do another half if not more.

Great freezer! Works efficiently and I love that it has the light on the front that tells you if the freezer turns off. We bought it to fit half a cow and we were able to fit 375 lbs of various cuts with plenty of room to spare.

I picked up this freezer at the Saginaw store and on arriving home, I unpacked it and found shipping damage. I contacted the store and they sent to customer issue resolution. After explaining the problem, they agreed to deliver a replacement. I just received the replacement and am currently using it. Fills all my needs.

This freezer offers incredible space with a convenient basket for easy organization of smaller items. The energy efficiency is remarkable, noticeably reducing my electricity bills. Furthermore, the consistency in temperature keeps all my food items perfectly frozen. Whirlpool has really outdone themselves with this durable and highly reliable appliance. Since our purchase, we have loved the ability to use this freezer. It has a tremendous amount of space, doesn't take up as much room as I thought it might, and is tall enough yet deep enough that it is not hard to reach down to grab your items. Very impressed with the freezer itself, no setup, just plugged it in and it was at temp in just over an hour or so. I highly recommend this freezer to anyone shopping for one.

I like it. And its working perfectly. It contains all my items, with the help of the organizers trails. Its good amd awesome

Big. Exactly what we were looking for. This unit can accommodate all the food we need when we go to resupply our stock. The three food baskets are very helpful for smaller items and the interior light is a nice feature. It is a bit tall, so if you are vertically challenged (say below 5' 0" tall) it can be a big reach for items at the bottom. Otherwise we're quite pleased with the quality and size.
