Outstanding freezer perfect for what I needed it for the price and service you can’t beat it

What more could you ask for. It's large, it's relatively mobile, and the most important part; it keeps things cold :)

Very happy with this freezer! Works excellent with lots of space! Easy adjustable temperature settings.

Freezer came with scuffs, scratches and small dents out of the box, but keeps very cold like it's supposed to. Makes a near constant low hum/gurgling sound, but I'm assuming this is within normal operation expectations. When the freezer was delivered, I asked the guy if it could be plugged in and operated right away. He said yes, and it wouldn't cause problems. HOWEVER I was already informed from other sources that when a freezer is turned in different orientations it needs to sit for a while so the fluids can settle properly. Just do your research and double check what the delivery guys say.

The freezer is almost big enough for a whole cow (processed). There were no issues with the functioning of the freezer. The light in the lid is handy dandy cotton candy.

Delivery was right on time. Installation was easy. It was sufficiently chilled in 6 hours so I could put things in it. It came with three baskets, not one as implied. I didn’t care for the sliding basket contraption that was included so I didn’t install that part. It seemed like it would make it harder to get to anything underneath the contraption. And also reduced the size of what you could put in there.

Product works great! Holds half a beef and whole pig with some room to spare. Perfect for our needs!

Purchased this a few weeks ago. Seems to work just fine. Price was great when compared to nearly the same model at Lowes.

I had been looking for a small freezer. I was finding off brands in my price range then this was on sale! It is a whirlpool! A name I trust! It is bigger than the ones I had looked at and has an interior light! It’s convertible from freezer to fridge! It’s worth every Penny and has worked well for our family needs!

So far very happy with purchase. Price was right and beat the local big box home improvement store's pricing on the same model. The freezer is on wheels which is helpful for getting it into position and Best Buy offered free delivery and the guys took away all the packaging which was helpful. Have freezer set at 0F and its holding nicely.

This was a scratch and dent one, but it's just like new! Lots of space and SO quiet! I like it!! I have two other whirlpool chest freezers and they last a long time. One of them is about 20 years old, so I hope this one lasts that long.

Extremely large and spacious freezer. Gets the job done.

As far as garage chest freezers go this is beautful. I replaced an old handed down freezer and I'm happy I did. This is huge but still also functional enough that I feel like things won't get lost for a decade at the bottom. The bins are great although I think it should come with 4. The light on the door is a bonus as well.

BB asked me to review this item by Nov 21, 2023. I took delivery on Nov 15, 2023....not much time. However, delivery was excellent- I received a call 30 minutes out. Delivery was very efficient...15 minutes total. However, this was delivered to my garage and would be a different situation if this was a refrigerator going to a high floor. The freezer cooled down very quickly and was noise-free. That's the extent of what I know at the moment. What do you bet this freezer is the same identical item marketed under Amana, for $200 more? Model number is identical: WZC5216LW...except for the first letter. I'm guessing W=Whirlpool, A=Amana BestBuy needs to refine its delivery protocol a bit better. When an appt is first made, all you know is the day. The timeframe is 0700-1900. Closer in, the delivery service will call at narrow it down. In my case, 1300-1600. It would be better to note customer preferences and then the delivery contractor can sequence the truck to accomodate as much as possible. For example, my particular neighbor does not allow truck traffic until 0800, and does not allow truck traffic after 1800. If I could specify a 1300-1500 window, then the deliveries can be loaded to consider that restriction. This will also help customers who have to miss work. By specifying morning or afternoon, then they might only need to miss a 1/2 day.

This freezer was a replacement to a previous one i had. It has helped with the storage and preservation of food and i love the capacity.

Large amount of storage space. Can only hear a quiet humming when it is running. Keeps a consistent temperature. Wish it had casters at all 4 corners instead of just the front.

I purchased this Freezer for my son and daughter in law for their Ice-Cream Truck- it works great for what they needed it for.

There is so much room, more than I realized! That's a good thing for someone who does a lot of baking and large holiday meals. If you have a large family and buy in bulk or freeze in bulk this is the freezer for you! One last thing, make sure you set up the system for locking the baskets.

Perfect size for what I needed. Fit a small beef and still had room. Love that it has wheels, so it’s easy to move. Only had it a month, but no issues so far.
