    Wouldn't recommend this model

    We have only had this refrigerator for a year and the freezer cools but the refrigerator doesn't. When we first got it it was the same way but started cooling. But with the warm weather the frezzer started to frost over and freeze. Now the refrigerator doesn't get cold.

    Breaks!

    I've had my refrigerator for a year and the handle has broken 3 times. Breaks in the same spot each time and company unwilling to help fix the problem except keep sending new handles. Each time, I have to clear 4 hours of time waiting for technician to come. Offered to install myself, but company unwilling to just send me handles. Freezer is not great, and ice forms on everything too.

    t suddenly froze all the fridge contents

    This was used in a spare kitchenette and so it didn't get a lot of use. However it was always giving us problems, freezing items on the top fridge shelf and doors that popped open if you didn't very carefully close them. Then it suddenly froze all the fridge contents and thawed all the freezer contents- ruining everything inside. Then it went way too warm throughout. Paid a repair man to come out since its not very old and he said buy a new fridge, the freon has leaked out and its now worthless.

    Didnt last 15 months

    Purchased this fridge new in December 2017 and it failed in March 2019...it did not last 15 months...freezer couldn't cool past 38 erratically went to low 20s , fridge froze vegetables and other items....local service agent advised not worth the repair costs....very poor quality, do not purchase this model or any whirlpool product, this is my second Whirlpool to fail in under two years....
