Love the look of the whirlpool Bottom-Freezer Refrigerator. The refrigerator portion is spacious. The freezer is a bit smaller than I had imagined, but it will work. The size was perfect for the 31" opening in our 1956 ranch-style home. With that said, the appliance began making a loud noise after 24 hours of use. I called a repair person (we purchased the 3 year extended warranty) to come to our home and fix the problem. The repair person was unable to determine what was causing the loud noise so it was decided that we would exchange our refrigerator with a new model. I'm giving this frig three stars because of the outstanding customer service we received from Best Buy. They made an on time delivery, removed all packaging material from our home, responded to my concerns about the noise when I called and are exchanging our frig with a new one without any hassles. Best Buy, you're the best:-)

This refrigerator was worth the wait. Just like many other items, supply and demand requires wait for delivery. I chose this brand because my other refrigerator is a Whirlpool and has lasted 20+ years. It even survived the flood in 2011.

The top door will not close unless I push it hard. I thought it was a "Soft Close" door. The hole at the bottom of the top door where the Styrofoam is injected to insulate, leaks pills of Styrofoam. The plug is defected. I know this because I checked the bottom freezer door and it has a perfect plug. This is the third time that I've responded to these email questioners and no response. Please help.

The whirlpool refrigerator is well designed and runs quietly. I am very happy with its looks and performance.

This was perfect for my kitchen and at a great price. If I could change one thing would be having more flexibility in the shelf adjustments in the door.

A bit expensive for it's size. Also seems to scratch easily when magnets are put on it. It's unfortunate considering most people put magnets on their fridge. In addition, the produce bins don't slide well and there is no butter/cheese shelf for the door.

It's noisier than my old ge fridge and it's only stainless steel on the front of the fridge which is disappointing me since you can see the side of the fridge

Nice, stainless steel, fingerprint resistant refrigerator. Does miss spot for eggs and butter dish.

I like having the freezer on the bottom. The refrigerator has a lot of room and the freezer is easy to organize. You have to be careful to close the freezer door tightly.

I love this refrigerator. It runs quietly and maintains coldness at all times. Although , the French-door type bottom freezer does not roll out easily, it's easy to find items that are stored in the bottom.

Exactly what I wanted. Roomy for the size. Looks nice. Hopefully it will last me a long time.

Needed a smaller frig and this one fit perfectly. I had a side by side and never liked it. This one is perfect, really like the convenience of the freezer on the bottom. Plenty of space in the frig and in the freezer. Love it!

Service at the Fashion Center Mall location in Paramus, NJ was outstanding. I shopped for days at the store and a little bit online. Very helpful. Found this great bargain of a Whirlpool fridge. Word of mouth that it's built well so I expect it to last for a long time.

We ordered this to replace a more expensive fridge that had constant issues. This seems more solid and this wheelchair user can finally reach everything!
