Love my Whirlpool Appliances purchased at great deals

Overall I’m happy w it ! Except during delivery there is a dent & scratches on side top

Its hard to get a unbiased review at the time. I orded this refrigerator and the ice maker listed for this refrigerator. Waited 6 weeks for it to come. Never came so i canceled and order the same icemaker, W11517113, from Amazon. Had it in 2 days. W11517113 is the wrong icemaker. The correct ice maker is W11729596. I had to call whirlpool to get the correct information.

delivery was timely&efficient. howver today a plastic piece fell off the top right corner of tbe unit. i stuck it back on but it is not secure. please advise as to how to address this issue

Works just fine but cosmetically it looks like who ever put it together did so on a Monday morning after a long St.Patricks Day weekend. There are multiple spots on the ceiling of the refrigerator that really should have covers that do not (looks cheap). Small bubbles of foam insulation poking out on all interior surfaces. Plastic sheeting meant to protect The stainless steel during manufacturing and shipping is stuck in every edges and almost impossible to remove. Cosmetically it’s a dumpster fire! Bought mine online due to COVID so obviously those things were hidden.

We love our new refrigerator, the delivery guys were very professional, did everything, I love it .

Item was delivered and installed but came with 2 scratches and had glue in the seems that was visable.

1st refrigerator came dented, 2nd refrigerator came really dented, and In still waiting to get this matter resolved…

It has a bad finish in the corners and edges, it has the techno inside and cannot be removed, the steel material is always stained and cannot be cleaned, it has a very bad finish in general, I would like to return it because it seems that they gave me a used product or returned from another customer.

Door wouldn’t stay closed causing inside of refrigerator to ice up & defrost inside!!! Then it was leaking in the back of the fridge! Whirlpool is replacing it!

The first refrigerator came and the doors were on the wrong side. When the repairman came to change the doors, they stripped them so they ordered another. It was wrong also. You took back my extend warranty.

I've had the Whirlpool 17.7 Cu. Ft. Top-Freezer Refrigerator for four years, and it has served me well. The stainless steel finish adds a sleek touch to my kitchen, and it's been resistant to fingerprints and smudges. In terms of storage space, it has been adequate for my needs. The adjustable shelves and door bins have allowed me to organize items of different sizes easily. The top freezer design is convenient, giving easy access to frozen goods. The refrigerator has been quiet during operation, which is appreciated. The LED interior lighting is bright and helps me find items easily, even in low lighting. One minor drawback is that the crispers could have better humidity control. I've noticed that some produce doesn't stay fresh as long as I would like. Overall, the Whirlpool 17.7 Cu. Ft. Top-Freezer Refrigerator has been a reliable appliance in my kitchen. It offers sufficient storage, a sleek design, and quiet operation. While the humidity control could be improved, it has served me well over the past four years.

The refrigerator is attractive and works well, and I LOVE the deep vegetable drawers. Unfortunately, overall there is less useable space in it than the interior size would suggest. This is because the shelves don't go all the way to the back of the fridge (there is a couple inches of gap there) so you can't put anything against the back wall. Similarly, the freezer's back wall is designed to keep you from being able to put anything in the deepest couple of inches as well. (I presume this is so that cold air can move from the freezer to the fridge?) However, this means that you lose a bunch of potential storage space and you can't stabilize stacked items against the wall, making it hard to pile things in efficiently. Also, there are other protrusions from the ceiling of the fridge that limit one's use of the top shelf. And although the bins in the door look like they would be great for 2-liter bottles, if you want to put small items there, the space is not going to be used very efficiently.

Been finding out everything is always compromises even when it comes to kitchen appliances. Emergency need arose when our highly touted refrigerator manufacturer died after only 17 months of casual use. No amount of emails, calls, or public shaming posted on social media sites, Facebook or their web site would yield a desired fair and equitable outcome so we purchased this Whirlpool top freezer refrigerator as we've had numerous Whirlpool refrigerators previously. Decent amount of cubic footage, small enough to fit thru our 29-inch wide door opening, and refrigerates satisfactorily on it's lowest setting which is a good thing. We now have the ability to dial down temps even lower especially during Summer months when all refrigerators labor the hardest. My dislikes include the fact this Whirlpool appliance is really noisy, the front stainless steel door is already rusting, and we are continually wiping down fingerprints and smudges. Too early to determine if this Whirlpool will last a minimum of 10 years which would please us. Temperature variations are not uniform in the refrigerator compartment however we can live with this just so long as foods are not spoiled. Ice cream is rock hard in freezer compartment which is a good thing. I do wish BestBuy allowed us to include more pictures as there is much to say about this decently priced top freezer refrigerator. Other compalints include the fact there is no service manual or detailed parts listings for us homeowners who perform our own preventative maintenance and repairs.
