I received my new refrigerator yesterday and after a few hours working started to make a very loud noise. I will return it to the store.

This was a emergency purchase due to our old refrigerator dying. The price seemed good even though it was rather small for our family. For two weeks the new fridge worked great, until we had very humid weather. All of a sudden it started running very loud. Now it isn't quite as loud a few weeks later, but it is much louder than when we first bought it.

The refrigerator as a whole is ok. The main thing is the noise it makes when cycling. Very noisy.

My only complaint is how loud it is, at night I have to go into my bedroom to get away from the noise, or just shut it off.

First thing to be aware of, is that there is no light in the freezer, which is the kind of thing you don't think about until you don't have one. Works great, totally functional. The interior space is weird, I can't figure out why but it's always hard to find stuff. It's loud. Otherwise good value for them money.

This refrigerator is very noisy. When a service man responded to our request for help, he listened to the refrigerator and said that was normal noise for this refrigerator. Also, the installation service was not acceptable. The installers refused to switch the door from right hinge to left. They said someone else would have to come out and do that, but Best Buy did not send anyone so I had to do that myself.

Works great. Sometimes a little noisy when you close the door but online FAQ states that's normal operation.

Nice basic refrigerator. The ice maker is a little loud but it's okay. You cannot reverse the handle.

Got this old style fridge, freezer to replace side-by-side I had. This new fridge hold a Lot more, and food more accessible than old one. Makes some odd, loud noises, & a piece of plastic is rubbing hard against a clear plastic door tray. Will call Whirlpool.

We were limited on space so we needed a fridge with smaller dimensions so we went with this fridge. It works well and looks nice. A couple draw backs though, the shelves are metal grids rather than glass and there is no bin for cold cuts and chesses. It is also a bit noisy when it starts running. It fit nicely in the limited space we had to put it.

The frig looks nicer, both inside and out than I expected. The LED lighting is cool. It's a little noisier than I expected, but it's not too bad. I'd buy again. The two delivery men were exceptionally efficient and polite!

I bought this fridge to replace an 18 year old Kenmore. This one was much nicer. Everything about this fridge seems strong and sturdy. I really liked the adjustable shelving as they seem strong and easy to clean. The shelves in the doors are great as they are very robust and adjustable. The LED lighting lit the inside of the refrigerator very well and was bright and crisp. I only wish that the freezer portion had lighting. The temperature controls were adequate and easy to use. Nice and cold and reached temperature very quickly. Aesthetically the unit looks fantastic. The black finish looks great and appears to be very durable and easy to clean. Other reviewers mentioned this unit was noisy. I did not think that was the case at all. Noise can be a relative thing, but I thought it was quiet and I don't even notice it running. The only complaint I had was with Best Buy as I ordered this unit with the hinges on the left side and it arrived with them on the right. When I inquired with the delivery personnel they told me to call the store and they would send a tech out. When I called the store they told me the delivery crew was suppose to do it. I was left in limbo waiting a few days for Best Buy to call me back. Rather than wait I read the installation instructions and swapped the door hinges and handles myself. I am a very technical and handy person and this was not an easy task. I was able to complete the swap and the refrigerator and freezer have been running flawlessly for about four weeks now.

This unit is louder than any other fridge I have owned. While it is still minimal, it is noticeable every time it kicks on. It has a good amount of storage space, but the door storage is limited. The standard shelves that comes with it only allow for average sized condiment bottles to be stored (think ranch dressing bottle sized). Any "family- sized" or taller bottles will not fit properly (even larger ketchup bottles don't fit). There are two places for larger items, but those spots are generally reserved for juice and milk jugs, not condiment containers. The drawers in this fridge are larger than your average bins, but also don't seem to slide as well - almost like they are just sitting on the bottom, not actually attached to the lower shelf. The middle drawer moves from side to side (which is totally cool) but also takes up precious space that could otherwise be used to accommodate the tall condiment bottles. 12-pack cases of soda fit perfectly on the bottom shelf, but bottles of water don't. This really limits the use of the lowest shelf setting. There are not a lot of configurations that work for this fridge. You have to place the top shelf all the way up if you want to have room to store items under the drawer on the middle shelf, and same applies to the bottom shelf - it must be on lowest configuration in order to provide adequate room for the middle shelf. I suppose other arrangements could work, but so far this is the only way I have been able to make it work for my purposes. The glass shelves are very nice looking, but I wonder how well they will clean up. I have kids so we are bound to have spills at some point or another. Since the shelves are all glass I can foresee liquids being caught in the crevices of plastic that hold the glass in place and protect from sharp edges. The freezer is a very good size. Full sized pizza boxes can fit well in any direction. The door storage is a bit lacking compared to the refrigerator compartment as the only bar holding items in place leaves quite a bit of space for smaller items to fall through. Larger items such as cylinder juice containers stay put, but thinner items such as single pound packages of hamburger fall through. I have only owned this fridge for a few weeks, and so far it has been good. It may just take some getting used to, but I wish I had spent more time looking at other options rather than purchasing the one that looked the prettiest. Other things I didn't notice in the store: The front of this fridge is actually curved - if you have a magnetic board that you place on the front it will not lay flat You cannot actually see the items on the top shelf when it is in the top position - you have to bend down to see. @@@@@@@@ I am 5'4" for reference) It does not have a temperature gauge that you can change to a bunch of different settings - you can only choose colder, warmer, or middle. The light in this unit is an LED which is more costly if you ever have to replace it. It is the same size as most standard refrigerators. I think it was a little taller at 64.75 inches tall, but for the most part takes up nearly the same amount of space.
