In order to keep the temperature at recommended levels I must keep the freezer on max despite the instructions which not to keep freezer setting on max.

I bought this refrigerator 2 & 1/2 years ago, the mother board died. $75 for a call and $400 for a part.... This refrigerator was $715. Bad choce on our part.

purchased honey well 12000 btus. did not cool below 75 degrees. exchanged it for another Honeywell 12000 which cost me about 70 dollars more. this one only cools to 79 degrees. very dissatisfied

The way the doors shelves are designed is horrible, the doors on the fridge and freezer are useless for any kind of storage. Don't buy this model.

Refrigerator went out 2 months after purchase. I have been without a refrigerator for over 30 days. Not much help from Best Buy. Contacting Attorney General.

Would never purchase another thing from Best Buy. The delivery men were the worst and just plain lazy!!!

Way to small, delivered without the icemaker, ended up returning it.

Bought this from Best Buy to replace an old Maytag that was on its last legs. At first I thought it was defective but please give this refrigerator 24 hours to adjust the interior temperatures. This refrigerator on its normal setting keeps food at the exact temperature (I bought a thermometer) and I can't believe my old one must have never worked correctly for a long time! My beer is COLD! Also like the glass shelves and large storage on the doors. Great BASIC refrigerator that works WELL!! Thank you Whirlpool!

Bought this fridge in May 2017, compressor died in 3 months, called last week for repairs and still waiting for parts.

After 2 failed brands we began to wonder if any refrigerator could provide the basics: freezer - freeze, frig keep things cold and no dripping. Brand #1 had sealing issues resulting in frig condensation and freezer icicles. Brand #2 both compartments were warm on the highest setting, when water began dripping on the top frig shelf (the reason we purchased a new frig) we returned it. This is lovely in stainless, and the interior crispers roll smoothly. Glass shelves versus plastic. Door space is efficient and smart looking - the adjustable shelves are terrific. Freezer glass shelf is nice. No freezer light - but never had one before. Normal settings provide very cold soda cans in the frig and firm (not soft) ice cream. It works – a big box that does what it is supposed to do!

Quit working right before the 2 year mark. Others reviews now state similar.

This unit is louder than any other fridge I have owned. While it is still minimal, it is noticeable every time it kicks on. It has a good amount of storage space, but the door storage is limited. The standard shelves that comes with it only allow for average sized condiment bottles to be stored (think ranch dressing bottle sized). Any "family- sized" or taller bottles will not fit properly (even larger ketchup bottles don't fit). There are two places for larger items, but those spots are generally reserved for juice and milk jugs, not condiment containers. The drawers in this fridge are larger than your average bins, but also don't seem to slide as well - almost like they are just sitting on the bottom, not actually attached to the lower shelf. The middle drawer moves from side to side (which is totally cool) but also takes up precious space that could otherwise be used to accommodate the tall condiment bottles. 12-pack cases of soda fit perfectly on the bottom shelf, but bottles of water do not. This really limits the use of the lowest shelf setting. There are not a lot of configurations that work for this fridge. You have to place the top shelf all the way up if you want to have room to store items under the drawer on the middle shelf, and same applies to the bottom shelf - it must be on lowest configuration in order to provide adequate room for the middle shelf. I suppose other arrangements could work, but so far this is the only way I have been able to make it work for my purposes. The glass shelves are very nice looking, but I wonder how well they will clean up. I have kids so we are bound to have spills at some point or another. Since the shelves are all glass I can foresee liquids being caught in the crevices of plastic that hold the glass in place and protect from sharp edges. The freezer is a very good size. Full sized pizza boxes can fit well in any direction. The door storage is a bit lacking compared to the refrigerator compartment as the only bar holding items in place leaves quite a bit of space for smaller items to fall through. Larger items such as cylinder juice containers stay put, but thinner items such as single pound packages of hamburger fall through. I have only owned this fridge for a few weeks, and so far it has been good. It may just take some getting used to, but I wish I had spent more time looking at other options rather than purchasing the one that looked the prettiest. Other things I didn't notice in the store: The front of this fridge is actually curved - if you have a magnetic board that you place on the front it will not lay flat You cannot actually see the items on the top shelf when it is in the top position - you have to bend down to see. (I am 5'4" for reference) It does not have a temperature gauge that you can change to a bunch of different settings - you can only choose colder, warmer, or middle. The light in this unit is an LED which is more costly if you ever have to replace it. It is the same size as most standard refrigerators. I think it was a little taller at 64.75 inches tall, but for the most part takes up nearly the same amount of space.

This is a nice size, simple refrigerator. I like the adjustable shelves and the special shelf on the door that holds a gallon of milk is great. The drawers are a nice size. I am giving 4 stars because the fridge was hard to get balanced. If it is not balanced correctly, the fan is crazy loud.
