The Whirlpool 19.4 Cu. Ft. 4-Door French Door Counter-Depth Refrigerator is a standout in every way. From the moment it’s in your kitchen, the sleek stainless steel finish delivers a premium, modern look—while resisting fingerprints to stay flawless. Inside, Whirlpool’s flexible organization system is a game-changer. Adjustable shelves, spacious drawers, and smart door storage mean no wasted space and no hunting for hidden items. The four-door design not only keeps everything neatly separated but also helps maintain perfect temperatures, so produce stays crisp and leftovers stay fresh. Performance is whisper-quiet yet powerful. The cooling is consistent from top to bottom, the LED lighting illuminates every corner, and the counter-depth design offers that built-in look without losing usable space. It’s also impressively energy efficient, so it saves you money over time. If you’re looking for a fridge that’s stylish, functional, and built to last, this Whirlpool model is the one to beat. It’s more than an appliance—it’s a kitchen upgrade you’ll appreciate every single day.

I absolutely love this Whirlpool French door refrigerator and freezer. Its counter depth so small items don’t get lost in the back as easily, and the shelves extend all the way across so it’s easy to slide a quarter sheet pan in to chill. The French door freezer compartments with 6 drawers make it easy to keep items sorted. No more digging thru the big single drawer to find that set of steaks or chops. And you can open just one side of the freeze, instead of the entire sedation. Really smart design.

We bought this a month ago. I really like the design. Counter depth works for us. Yes pizza box does not fit well. I put it in a bag. I like shelves. Freezer i like the pull out bins. We do have a deep freezer for big items. If you shop weekly this fridge is good. Not sure how well it would work for family of 4 that cooks every night, might want regular depth for that. Ice maker is nice. Lighting is bright. Changing freezer temps nice so food for the week is not over frozen. Everyone thT sees it really likes it.

Months of research paid off—the perfect fridge

After having researched refrigerator brands, features & sizes and reading hundreds of reviews I chose this 4-door Whirlpool & have ZERO regrets. Very spacious without being too big, efficient and consistent cooling, easy to organize and see what’s on every shelf. I purchased an in-line filter for the icemaker, which was inexpensive and super easy to install. The glass shelves have minimal adjustability but it suits our needs just fine. Having 4-doors is great-I’ve never been a fan of the drawer models which tend to become cluttered quickly-having to pull things out to see what’s hiding beneath. This fridge is far more user friendly. Easy to clean both inside & out, and it looks good in my kitchen. I don’t care for having a fridge with “smart” features — they can be cool at first but more a novelty than anything AND they tend to require more service calls than I find acceptable. This Whirlpool is practically silent with no loud fan noise, it’s beautiful and functional. Highly recommend this model.

The fridge is a great size (one of the few French door fridges that at isn’t too deep and can fit comfortably in our space). Runs super quiet; temp control is great; LED lights are bright and welcoming; ice maker (with extra side bin) is great. (Installer did caution that the Whirlpool ice maker is known to die.) If anything, I wish there was a little more fridge space and less freezer space, but my boyfriend loves the double freezer doors and lots of space/shelves. Overall, very happy with the purchase. As an added plus, the Best Buy delivery crew was the best!

This refrigerator is great. We thought it would be too small, however it is not. We had a 24 cubic foot Samsung before. The convenience of the four doors makes it easy to find and load items, lots of configurations with the shelves too. It is very quiet and keeps the food cold/frozen well. The customer service from Best Buy is excellent, we will buy more appliances from here because of it.

Beautiful counter depth fridge. My kitchen is small and this depth really made a difference! I like the 4 separate doors. I used to have side by side model. I have plenty of space within the fridge, but the freezer space took getting used to. It is quiet and works great!

Went in looking for a refrigerator as an emergency replacement and found this for a great price! Has a nice modern and simple look. More spacious than expected both top and bottom. Four door design makes it nice to get to thing without having to open large doors in smaller spaces. Keeps foods and drinks and medicines fresh and Frozen just as needed. I'm happy to have found this when I needed it. And the price makes the purchase so much better!

We have an old house with narrow doorways and tight turns around early 20th century designs. So, we were terrified that our new fridge wouldn’t fit into our home - even after measuring doorways and turns over and over. This fridge fit perfectly. It cools far better than our previous Whirlpool - from 1993 - and does so consistently throughout the entire fridge. The temp controls are also easy to use and convenient. Two things that are important to know. 1) There is no dedicated meat drawer. It isn’t necessary, as the fridge cools equally throughout, but if you choose this fridge you may also want to select some containers for meat that you don’t intend to freeze. 2) The back of this fridge stays cool but the sides heat up. This was especially pronounced in the first 24 hours. However it cools down significantly once the device reaches its cool down temp. It’s important to have the necessary space on the sides. These two quirks aside, we like this fridge. It looks great and is a fantastic upgrade from our old 90s hand-me-down. Hope this helps your decision.

A Ridiculous Love Affair with the Whirlpool 4-Door

Ever since we brought home the Whirlpool 19.4 Cu. Ft. 4-Door French Door Counter-Depth Refrigerator with Flexible Organization Spaces, our lives have been transformed into a symphony of chilled delights and frosty wonders. This stainless steel marvel isn't just an appliance; it's a portal to a parallel universe where food preservation and sheer joy collide. First off, let's talk about the sheer majesty of those four doors. It's like opening the gates to the kingdom of fresh produce and perfectly chilled beverages. Every time I pull open one of those sleek, gleaming doors, I half expect a butler to appear and offer me a chilled goblet of the finest juice. My friends have started calling my kitchen "The Palace of Perishables," and I can't say they're wrong. The counter-depth design? Absolute genius. It's like the refrigerator just nestles into the cabinetry, as if it were a high-tech chameleon blending seamlessly with my kitchen decor. Sometimes, I catch myself just staring at it, marveling at how it makes the whole room look like a futuristic food storage haven. I've even started giving impromptu tours of my kitchen, just to show off the fridge. "And here," I say with a flourish, "is where the magic happens." But the real pièce de résistance is the flexible organization spaces. It's like the refrigerator has a mind of its own, knowing exactly what I need and when I need it. I've got a drawer for my artisanal cheeses, another for my collection of exotic fruits, and even a special compartment that I like to call "The Vault" for my secret stash of gourmet chocolates. It's gotten to the point where I'm organizing my groceries just for the sheer thrill of using those compartments. My groceries have never felt more pampered. Let's not forget the stainless steel finish. It’s like having a mirror that reflects not just my image, but the pure joy I feel every time I look at it. I've taken to polishing it daily, and I swear it winks back at me in appreciation. My neighbor once caught me hugging it, but I don't care. True love knows no bounds. If you're looking for a refrigerator that's more than just an appliance – one that's a culinary confidant, a decorative delight, and a bona fide conversation starter – look no further. This fridge is not just cool; it's the coolest.

I love this refrigerator! It’s room inside and designed well. My produce (berries, vegetables and mushrooms) stay fresh longer! The ice maker is wonderful. It is truly counter depth which was one reason I bought it. To have so much room inside and fit in my small kitchen makes it perfect!

    Nice Counter Depth Fridge

This was my second choice for a refrigerator after my fridge died. I ordered an LG that had space and was large and had depth however, it was too large to fit in the space where I needed it to go. So I had to return it and order this instead. This was a nice slick/sleek looking refrigerator. It's counter depth which is what I needed. It doesn't have a water dispenser which is fine by me. If you need one then this won't work for you. But it makes nice small sized ice cubes which are plenty for me. I love how you can control the two freezers are the bottom to make them as cold as you need. The top is spacious however, it does leave some room to be desired as I've had to fight to get a few kool-aid or water pitchers into it but once you do, it's easy moving forward. I'm very happy with this purchase, if you have a small home like I do or a small apartment with not a lot of space, this would be perfect for you as it gives you that nice new refrigerator look this is it.

I live in a condo and traded a 4 year old Samsung for this one. Had multiple issues with Samsung. This fridge looks like it is a built in. Not obtrusive and I love the way it cleans so easily. One thing I must say is the fact there is no deli drawer- my fault, I bought this online and it didn’t dawn on me until the fridge arrived.

This refrigerator looks great. The counter depth is a big improvement over our old full depth fridge. And it is very quiet. The only occasional sounds are from the ice maker. I did remove 1 of the door bins to better accommodate wine and 2 liter bottles. The bin now houses smaller items on a refrigerator shelf. We are a 2 person household and the size is perfect for us. The freezer is set up perfectly with both bins and pullout shelves. No more digging through freezer baskets to find things anymore. This refrigerator is actually a replacement for the same refrigerator that was installed 2 weeks earlier. The initial fridge had malfunctioning freezer door sensors and was replaced by Best Buy. This new fridge has been working fine for 3 weeks now.

When looking at new refeigerators, I thought I had three real options: Top freezer, where you get one long shelf, stuff falls out when you open it, you forget you have the stuff in the back, etc and the drawers at the bottom of the fridge require you to sit down to use. Option 2: bottom freezer, where the fridge is pretty good, but the freezer is basically a deep drawer bunch of stuff piled on top of each other. Can get french drawer style for a fancier look. Option 3: Side-by-side: This is where the freezer finally gets treated well, though a lot of apace is uaually lost to a water dispenser. You get shelves and drawers in the freezer, but the fridge is generally cramped, and you still have to sit to deal with the fridge drawers. Turns out there is a 4th option - This innovative design combines the best of both worlds - the organization of a side-by-side freezer and the spaciousness of a top fridge design. And with counter-depth, there’s no back of the fridge for anything to get lost. The freezer shelves pull out, everything is well lit, and it is easy to see all of your food. This thing is a joy to use and makes me want to organize. I love it! As a bonus, the two freezers can be set to separate temps, and were able to be used within a few hour (I tested with a bit of water in a bowl to see when it would freeze).

So far the refrigerator works as advertised. My only knock is it doesn't have a meat drawer but I knew that prior to purchasing so not enough to downgrade. After first plugging in, the sides did heat up but are normal now. Love that I can set a different temperature in the freezer compartments, it is like having two small freezers. Nice for using one side as a soft freeze for ice cream. The ice maker is unusually loud when taking in water but really doesn't bother me but it was noticeable. I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend it. It is a cool-looking and functional refrigerator.

    Serious Storage for Small Unit

I purchased this fridge a month ago and overall think it's a great fridge that fits and functions in the odd space it fits. I have a fairly small kitchen that is designed for the fridge to only go into one space - which happen to be a corner. Add to that there is a door in that corner to my back deck, which really limits the depth of the fridge I can have. My previous fridge in that space was a 2 French door design (freezer L, fridge R) and the freezer door would basically only open 90 degrees, severely limiting the size of items I could fit in there. I know you're probably thinking why didn't I get a bottom drawer freezer style? And the answer is good luck finding a fridge that doesn't exceed 69" tall or 29" deep that is something different than the 2 French door design! This 4 door design is great in that the freezer unit on the right has some deep drawers and wider spaces and although for me the left side opens toward wall the zero degree hinges allow for the door to open a but wider than 90 degrees, but not enough for me to actually pull out the bottom drawer far enough to get the access I need. I ended up removing the drawer entirely and have much better access to that space and can easily stack items there. It takes a second to figure out how to organize items in the fridge space, but the space is large and deep and plenty of room for a family of 2-4 people. I'd recommend using easy access containers for storing and stacking smaller items. The fridge sides got pretty hot after it was first installed and getting down to temp., which is how this unit is designed to function, but once it's to temp it rarely runs and is super quiet. A drawback for some may be that it does not come with a water fill station. I believe that the unit does not have any kind of water station modification you can retrofit either. It's not a huge deal for me as I have filtered tap at my sink that goes through a better filtration process than most fridge's have. I think this fridge will serve me well for many years.
