Door won't stay shut

I didn't mind that, being that is in the basement, but I wouldn't ever put it in a normal living area. Now that we've had it just over a month, the door has started popping open continuously. Had I not caught it and taped it shut, we'd have lost hundreds of dollars worth of food. Without a functioning door, this isn't a freezer, it's an inefficient air conditioner. For $800+, this shouldn't be happening, especially not after only a month. It also doesn't seem to have arrived with the key to lock the door, so that's not even an option. So jury-rigging it with tape it is for now. If there were other options available during the pandemic, I'd be sending this back.

My chest freezer of over 15 years is still working. Do not buy this. This is an awful experience for me of my first upright freezer. This freezer is a complete waste of money.

Insulation foam sticking out of seems and joints. Poor attention to detail. Seems to be mass produced with out much quality control for a $1300 freezer.
