Garage Freezer

The sides get pretty hot, but is staying cold inside. Shelves are fully adjustable, and has plenty of room for everything from pizzas and ice cream to game animals and large cuts of meat.

The freezer is on its third replacement part in 2 years for its inability to maintain temperature. I’ve had it with paying $150 service calls and I am getting rid of it. Unfortunately, it’s one of the few that fits in the cabinet hole, but I’ll be damned if I make the mistake of buying another Whirlpool! This thing has one job. Keep food frozen. And it can’t do that. Shame on them for their poor design and poor quality. Nothing is built to last anymore. What a waste.

Good premise, needs a bit of focus

Triple checked everywhere, and all the packaging. No luck. Then i spent a couple of hours with Best Buy, checking with the driver, redirecting to whirlpool for warranted coverage, and redirected between three different departments before being told it’ll take at least 2 weeks to get the part via mail. Can still open the door obviously, but it feels a bit rough not being complete, minus stars for runaround, and delays.

The shelves seemed shallower than they looked and the space was smaller than I expected. Also there is no light on the outside to alert to power off. Do like the configuration of the inside, though.
