    Quit In Less Than Two Months

    I purchased this freezer because of the good reviews and decent storage. When it first came it worked well. Unfortunately in less than two months it quit and would not cool. Whirlpool covered the repair but nearly an entire freezer of meat was lost and Whirlpool would not cover any replacement costs. Do not buy!!!

    I took a 30 year old GE freezer out of service in an attempt to avoid a failure. Bought a new Whilrpool after 2 weeks, IT DEID and took 2700.00 worth of food with it. Best thing Whirlpool could tell me is they could send me a service man in 6 days and they made a point that "WHIRLPOOL IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SPOILED FOOD" She said it 4x. So if you want dependable, buy a quality name, not Whirlpool!

    Compressor Leaked after 2 years

    At first I loved my new freezer. But after only 2 years and 1 month, it stopped freezing food, although it was still running. I had to pay an appliance repairman to ultimately inform me that it would cost more to repair the freezer than it would to purchase a new one. The compressor leaked and would need to be replace--at a cost of approximately $1,000. I ended up losing hundreds of dollars worth of food, also, as I had filled it to capacity. He told me this was an all-too-common problem with this brand of freezer. I could not be more disappointed and do not recommend this freezer.

    Don't trust it

    Had it a 1.5 months and it decided to stop working and seemed like it heated things. My food was frozen a week before, but I found it hot and moldy, and never heard a beep.

    It stopped working right after 2 yrs and it only had a 1 yr warranty. Very disappointed!

    Not worth it

    Would not recommened, only about 3.5 years old and product no longer keeps items frozen. Only comes with a one year warranty. Poor lifespan on something that costs about 1000.00

    3 year lemon

    Good when it works. Bought late 2019 and less than 4 years later it stopped freezing. Called service and they were no help just offered a discount if wanted to buy a new one.

    Don't buy!

    Bought this unit in June 2018. Two months later it stopped working. Had it repaired under warranty but had to wait for the part which meant loss of the meats I had. Now just on the date for the warranty to run out. Guess what? Not cooling again! Had a Frigidaire for 15 years before this unit.

    Doesn't freeze. Food spoiled. Poorest quality.

    Really poor build quality. Arrived with a broken fan above the evaporator which we were able to fix. Then it didn't cool/freeze properly. Half of the food we put in it after allowing it to cool down over 24 hours ---> spoiled. Overall, really poor quality and reliability. Don't buy this piece of junk.
