Had purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator a year ago. Happy with it. Bought micro, stove, and dishwasher to match during kitchen remodel.

Compared to our previous LG microwave, this one is just about perfect. It's quiet, cooks evenly, and is easy to operate, in addition to being solidly built and nice looking. As others found, it was disappointing that the blue clock light didn't match the color of the light on my oven. That dilemma was solved by selecting the "clock option" and choosing the "energy" mode so the clock only comes on when the microwave is operational and for 5 minutes afterward. The "end of cycle" sound was too long for me, so I opted to only have the "key" sound on rather than "all." This is done by making that choice within the "sound" option choices. Yes, the light below isn't super, but adequate. I will say that in this age of LED bulbs, appliance manufacturers should be able to do much better with lighting and provide clock light color options. I have a Christmas tree whose LED lights can be programed to change into numerous colors.

This microwave is easy to use and heats evenly. This microwave has a steam feature. The microwave is very user friendly.

I love my new microwave, no fingerprints and have a variety of selections to steam, cook, defrost food and easy to clean.

Great microwave.easy installation. We haven't had a problem with the microwave. We installed this microwave as a replacement and we bought the exact same one. The original microwave that we had only lasted about 6 years though.

Have had Frigidaire. It worked great for about two weeks .. numerous repairs for same issue. Until it caught fire! That’s right! Fan from the inside out. Lucky my house is still here. Got a fabulous looking Samsung! Another joke. The door melted! I mean the bottom of the door literally had a huge almost drip like plastic meltdown!? Then I got this Whirlpool. Wow! Sensor cooking is fantastic! What microwave make it’s own popcorn? This one does! Even the beeps are friendly. More of a chime instead of annoying beeps that wake the dead. As of now, Whirlpool is my go to brand!

Whirlpool fit perfectly and was very easy to install. Easy to use right off the start.

The Whirlpool microwave with fingerprint finish was an excellent choice. It is easy to use and has a large interior for big dishes. There are many different choices for microwaving different foods and they all work great! I love the finish on the inside as it is so easy to keep clean. You just use a soft wet cloth to wipe the inside and dry with a soft towel. The microwave continues to look brand new!

Easy to use and looks great. Replaced an old counter unit so the changes are dramatic. Price reasonable.

Great product, looks very sharp in our kitchen. The 2.1 inch size is massive, highly recommend for the price.

Would have preferred controls along the bottom, as this is an over-the-range model. Buttons require a bit more pressure than other appliances. But performance is great, terrific options (e.g. butter soften OR melt). Good choice.

I had an earlier model of this microwave whose circuit board failed after five years, and it would have cost nearly as much to repair it as to buy a new model on sale. This is an updated version that performs well so far and has clear, understandable controls. Plus, it fits in the same space above our cooktop and coordinates, appearance-wise, with the other Whirlpool appliances in our kitchen.

So much better than our old unit. Quieter, more efficient and many more features.

Replaced older microwave with this one. It has lots more features and is very quiet.

Have had this microwave for two months now and really love it. Really heats things up quickly and heats food evenly. Many settings for many kinds of food. Lights on the unit on the inside and out are very adequate contrary to some reviews I have read. Especially like the chime when cooking is done. Really beats the loud buzzer noise of our last microwave. Would highly recommend this unit to anyone. Solidly built and a good value for the money.

We have had this microwave about a month now and really love it. The sensor cooking works very well for reheating left-overs without overcooking the food. The turntable is very large and the unit is very quiet. When first installed the fan was off balance and made a loud noise but the installation guys were able to make an adjustment on the spot and it is working great.

Replaced a 30+ year old Whirlpool unit. Fairly easy to install. So far, so good. Just wish the lights were brighter LEDs.
