Easy to use, easy to install, and sharp looking. Everything we wanted in a solid, mid-range microwave. And the two-tier option for microwaving is a revelation!

It's has less power than my original 36 inch Kenmore OTR but fit in the space nicely, even though it is only 30 inches. Things take a little longer, like heating coffee for 2'1/2 minutes vs just 2. But inside is light gray and easy to keep clean.Sensor cooking works great. One irritating thing is that you cannot put something in the oven and walk away without starting it, like at dinner prep. It requires you to open the door before it will let you start power and timer - annoying, but learning to keep the door open until everything is ready to go. OTR fan is great@

I purchased this after my Samsung microwave packed up. The repair cost was the same as a new microwave, so I did some research and came up with this Whirlpool. So far so good! It has been close to 4 weeks now, and we have no complaint. Fingerprints are easily removed and I do not need to use the SS cleaner :)

We replaced the original microwave over that came with the house after 9 years of use. We decided to go with this one based both on features and the fact that the previous one lasted almost 10 years. So far, all new features on this one have worked great. I would recommend this item to my friends.

I chose this make and model because of its features, the excellent customer reviews, and the fact it was the same outer dimensions as the one I was replacing. The quality seems to be excellent. It works very well, is easy to operate and looks amazing.

Recently purchased this microwave based on Consumer Reports rating on reliability. It replaced a Samsung that failed right after the warranty expired. This microwave is surprisingly quiet when in use and does a much better job of heating food evenly than the Samsung. We are very happy, so far, with the purchase.

This microwave is great. It has so much functionality to it past just microwaving food. The only thing I'm not a fan of is that if you have a timer running and want to start heating something in the microwave, you can't just push the numbers you usually do. It resets the timer to that number. You have to hit cook first.

Nice microwave with good features and size for the price. WHEN INSTALLING: template for mounting rear wall hanger has a margin at the top. Cut it off or fold it back or your microwave will be 1/2” below where it should be! Learned this the hard way. Even the YouTube video showing how to install does it wrong but magically the microwave is installed correctly at the end!

This microwave is easy to operate and cooks well. Have not noticed any cold spots. Quieter than most and efficient. Has soften/melt and auto defrost in addition to standard options like popcorn selection.

I like that is big but is really heavy It does take alot of space

Our Over-the -Range Whirlpool microwave arrived today 2/11/2021. Installation went very well. Jeff and Allied Construction did a good job. It took a few weeks from purchase to installation however. 1/7/2021 to 2/11/2021 Let's hope everything else goes as well.

Love these microwave! Easy to use. My kids have no problem getting what they want done without exploding things and constantly causing messes. Heats things throughly and quickly. Lots of space and I love have the rack to reheat multiple meals at a time.

Has all the features you ever need and easy to install.

I waited 4 months to write this review as there were some mixed reviews and I wanted to make sure there were no delayed issues which there were not. I selected this model to replace a unit that was installed when we purchased our home 13 years ago. The unit design (stainless steel and black) is a perfect fit with my kitchen appliances even though they are not Whirlpool. The handle is sturdy and makes it easy to use a well as minimizes fingerprints on the stainless steel. The inside is large and very easy to clean with a damp cloth. The touch pad is easy to use and the functions work well especially the defrost and dinner plate choices. The unit heats and defrosts evenly but I tend to use the lower recommended time range on food packages due to the power of the unit. While the fan on high is louder than my previous microwave fan, it is far more powerful and effective. There are also three other fan settings below high that are very quiet. Overall I am very happy with the look, performance and value of this microwave.

This is a good microwave in many regards. It heats up very thoroughly and quickly, and there are several options for different power levels, different foods being cooked, etc. However. There has been something up with the circuit board since day one. About half the time the hood light simply doesn't work. Also, several times the display panel has gone completely dark. I have tried calling Best Buy and have gotten the run-around through the phone tree numerous times. I want to talk w/ someone at the store where I purchased it, but the system seems determined to keep me from talking with a human. My husband is now working on it - he has more patience than I do. Getting to the bottom of a problem with a recently purchased item should not take hours and hours of work and patience.
