We first were looking for a microwave that would declutter our counters and vent outdoors. This was our choice from many we looked at. It has worked perfectly. It functions as we wanted and is a good size for leftovers and popcorn. We contracted our own installer because electricity work is required and Best Buy does not do it. Pleased with our purchase.

I bought this item to replace an older Whirlpool model from 08. This model is a very solid microwave. The build quality is much better than my older model. This microwave outperforms my previous microwave in every way.

I think the microwave is excellent no problems,the food is warm, good microwave.

My wife and I microwave the majority of anything hot or warmed that goes into our mouths. Our magnetrons only last 4 or 5 years before they poop out. I looked at smaller, less expensive units, but there were complaints about plastic parts breaking off, like parts of the handle. Our previous Whirlpool had packing tape holding the handle together for many years. This handle feels pretty solid. It's often the little things and make a big impression over time... I was able to use the old wall bracket, but still had to drill new holes in the cabinet above. It's swiss cheese up there. HEY WHIRLPOOL - HOW ABOUT STANDARDIZING THE MOUNTING HOLE LOCATIONS ON THE TOPS OF YOUR MICROWAVES??? This thing feels pretty solid. If I get four years out of it, I'll be happy.

This is an excellent micro which received very high marks in CR mag. It heats fast, evenly, and has enough features to satisfy a whole host of needs. The ONLY reason I didn't give it a 5-star is that I personally don't like the sound it makes when the food is ready. I would have liked to have a way to choose a different tone. Otherwise a definite "5"!

Since delivery/installation on January 11,2023 this Whirlpool Mircrowave oven has been used every day and it is performing very well.

This microwave works well. Easy to use. Looks look. Have not really had any issues with this machine so far

Nice overall. Auto Settings tend to overheat some items but are accurate on other items. Very easy to clean compared to last over the range microwave we owned. Price very reasonable for quality.

This microwave is quiet and very easy to use. The features to use are ones we use the most. It also seems to complete our request quicker than our old one. I am so glad we chose this microwave.

This microwave heats up our food just fine. I have to say though, that this particular model gets on my nerves, a bit. Our last microwave, which was a different brand, only lasted 15 months. After attempting to fix it 3 times, we had to just bite the bullet again & spend the money on a new one. Though the last one didn't last long, what I did like about our last microwave was that it didn't take rocket science to figure it out. It was easy to use or just took some basic logic. Maybe it's just me, but there seems to be too many steps to accomplish, what should be, easy tasks with this Whirlpool model. What gets on my nerves is that I have to re-open & shut the door in order to make it start & the display would say so. The display would say to open & shut the door, then press start. Sometimes, I would put something inside, but not need to start it up quite yet. When I eventually enter the time & press start, the panel displays that I have to reopen & shut the door again before starting. I never ever had to do that with all the other microwaves I've had in the past. I'm constantly opening & shutting the door now more than I should need to. Also, with other tasks, you have to jump through hoops to get to the final step. I never had these issues before. I would, however, reluctantly, recommend this. It does do the job and cooks & heats up food just fine, once you're done pressing through all the ridiculous steps. Like I said before, it could be just me.

Large and powerful this unit replaced the old microwave of the same brand from years back. the wall plate was the same so it made installation even easier because i didn't have to take the old one out, they were the same.

Compared to my older Microwave that was replaced, this Whirlpool unit is VERY quiet! We love it!

This microwave is fantastic! Perfect size for heating and cooking anything. The Sensor Cooking feature heats and cooks food perfectly! The cooking rack is also an added bonus. I would recommend this microwave to anyone!

To date, this microwave has performed as advertised, the controls are intuitive and easy to use. It has plenty of power, is easy to keep clean and fits in well with our kitchen.

I bought this microwave to replace an LG. I bought this one because reviews said Whirlpool is a reliable brand. My only complaint is the light is in the back of the microwave. It does not light up the stove top very well

Very nice microwave, seems to be easier to keep the interior clean than my older model. User manual could be more elaborate, the "alarm sound" that goes off when cooking or timer is done is much too quiet, easily drowned out by conversation or nearby tv. Light under this model blew out literally the second I turned it on, the replacement only lasted 12 days, somewhat concerned about that as other reviews on other sites have mentioned this issue.

I purchased this Whirlpool microwave because of its ratings and features. It's a 2 person job to get it up but instructions were excellent. I even found a video on YouTube on how to install it. So far, the unit works great! We love the features.

I've had this microwave for more than a month and really like it. It is very roomy inside and warms evenly. I do wish it had some of the quick buttons, like pressing '2' for two minutes, but that is just being lazy!
