Downsized to a townhouse with the most shallow laundry area/recessed closet Ive ever seen! In addition, it shares the kitchen and is literally 2ft from fridge…this was absolutely perfect when it comes to compact areas!

I bought this for a rental unit we have. Looks good and haven't heard any complaints from the tenant yet hence, reason for the 4 star.

Recently upgraded our washer and this was our perfect match. It was going in a tight space (which is surprisingly hard to find anything small enough) and I needed it quickly and Best Buy definitely delivered. It not only fit our measurements, it was one of the best priced washers we found. It works great for my husband and me. The delivery and installment went smoothly and it's working great thus far!

This washer does an excellent job washing our clothes, but it definitely seems smaller than 2.3 Cu. Ft. We just have to wash more frequently now. The other thing is you have to hit the power button just right to make it turn on. More annoying than anything but works every time! Does what it is supposed to do in a classier compact size!

Great laundry unit overall. Performs well for a compact washer, not too loud, washes clean.
No hot water option, the seals don’t always rinse cleanly, and shakes quite a bit when trying to spin drain the water. Turning on, the button sometimes struggles a bit.
Unit also died about a half year into use, it was brand new, though thankfully repairs were fully covered under warranty.

Small, but we knew that. Have a small footprint area to use so we needed something with the right dimensions and this fit the bill.
Replaced a Bosch unit that was dying, and this one is much easier to use and just a nicer machine.
Got it with the dryer and the stacking kit. It is reasonably quiet. Has an efficient spin cycle so that makes drying easier. So far so good.

I just recently got this washer for an apartment. Despite some negative reviews, I decided that it was the best option based on features and size. It's been only a couple of weeks, but so far, no complaints. Also, it operates with cold water and seems to be energy efficient. I'll keep my fingers cross and hope for the best.

I’m pretty happy with the quality of the washer. It’s pretty easy to use for those of us who aren’t tech saavy. Things that may be a problem if you have mobility issues. There's a drain at the bottom that has to be emptied often. If you don’t raise the feet, you probably don’t have anything shallow enough to catch the water. Makes a big mess if you don’t. Another issue is wiping the rubber seal each time. Some areas are hard to get to. Lastly, it seems to require a special cleaner to be used after 30 washings. Not sure where to get that or how much it costs.

Bought this awesome compact washer one week ago from Best Buy. And I was not that happy with the unit. The features are ok, the unit is very quiet, and it's easy to use. Of course the best part is it is COMPACT and fits very nicely into our laundry/mud room. But wish would have gone for a better one. Avoid this if possible

I purchased this because I do not have a dryer outlet in my apartment. Its been good to me for the first 3 months I've had it. I can do about 2 maybe 3 load a day depending on the size of the load. OPEN the door RIGHT after the clothes dry or the steam will damp the clothes and start to smell. If that does happen purchase some tub washing tablets pop one in and use the tub washer setting to clean and perfume the tub.

To my surprise, I was able to wash my queen size bed spread! I really didn't expect to be able to. I was not used to all the electronics so it was complicated at first, but I am getting better at it. Proper he soap is important so you don't need to make conversions. I am really pleased so far, but will have to see how it preforms over the long haul.

The washer flooded the room the first time I used it. After a week, the Geek Squad came and declared it defective. It took another week for a new machine to be delivered from Baltimore. It was installed without having been balanced and was still unusable. On the 25th day of ownership, I finally washed with the machine. The Power button sometimes takes multiple tries to turn on. All the various options are complicated, and the instructions are confusing. The machine often stops on the spin cycle and the clothes have to be rearranged, even though they don't appear unbalanced. The good point is that it washes well.

Suggest that whirlpool consider writing clearer user instructions. When you power the washer up you have to press the power button just right otherwise it takes awhile to power up. The dial once you figure out that you turn the dial to the desired setting then press the dial to advance to the next setting and so on until you’re ready to press the start arrow. Only cold water hook up needed because machine heats the water. A load takes an hour to wash. Clothes seem clean and when spin cycle is set to high it helps to dry clothes faster in the dryer. Machine is expensive and smal wash capacity. If you have a small laundry room this washer is a good fit. Because today’s washers are much much larger than a few years ago this washer is backordered a lot. Suggest building more and at a better quality.

The power button is so sensitive that I have to push it 5-10 times before it actives but the start button works just fine. I can only wash one sheet at a time. No, really, if I try to put in a queen size set of sheets it adds time and I have to run the spin only cycle again. I had a repair man come in and tell me "yeah, 2 pairs of jeans is about all you can wash and sheets can only be washed one at a time." I replaced a GE 2.2 cu. ft. washer that was a dream. I tried to exchange it within 30 days I didn't realize Best Buy has a 14 day return policy on appliances. Regrettably I didn't run a load until 15 days after it was delivered.

We are constantly working to improve our appliances and our service, and it is only through feedback from customers like you that we are able to do so. We have documented all of the concerns you have mentioned, for review by our managers and engineers. Our managers and engineers do regularly review our files, to look for areas in which we can improve our products. We love this device. But you do have to understand it first. It only has a cold water input. Now before you worry about this you need to know it's of European design and makes it's own hot water. Go figure. It's companion dryer doesn't have a lint output but rather a special capture drawer. Again, for that smaller European apartment that doesn't have a lint exhaust. It's our back devices and when our main washer went out last summer, it gave us time to shop for what we wanted at the right price.

We needed a small washer for the space we had in our home. This was perfect! It is very efficient! It takes a little longer for a cycle but we were explained this with the installation. It fits quite a bit of laundry, plenty of space for 2 people’s belongings. We are very happy with this washer!

I don't have to replace the dryer together with the washer, save me some money. I can place my original dryer right on top of the front loading machine. The compact size is big enough to serve my need in a small apartment.
