Excellent Compact Washer!

And I couldn't be more pleased with the unit. The features are great, the unit is very quiet, and it's easy to use. Of course the best part is it is COMPACT and fits very nicely into our laundry/mud room. With the trend of washer and dryer units becoming so big and bulky, I was so happy to find this alternative. The only reason I gave this a four star versus a five is that on the ground level, it is going to be a little difficult to drain and clean the filter as suggested in the owners manual.

Best Buy links me to an authorized dealer and so does Whirlpool after several conversations with very nice, but completely unhelpful associates. Today, Express Appliance Repair told us this unit is for mobile homes, and will be $600 to fully repair, and will likely not run much longer. I will be claiming fraud against Best Buy and Whirpool, if this machine is not replaced, at their expense. We’ve now spent $250 on appliance repair visits, with no resolution. I will never buy a Whirlpool appliance again, and suggest others to steer away from their products as well.

Disappointing

It passed the 15 days return window from Best Buy so I have use factory warranty. Technician ordered parts but one week passed the parts have not been shipped yet. It could take another 2 weeks to come. It is a newer generation with lot of programs but with only one water inlet. The machine need to heat water itself. Right now i have a month without a washer. Very disappointing.

I’m not sure whether I got a broken set, it horrible shakes when it spins, the machine moves a lot as well when it spins!!! And the dryer has loud noise when it works. We chose whirlpool in our old house, it should be a very trustworthy brand for us, but this time, it was a very bad experience!
