It was time to replace our 14 year old Whirlpool refrigerator. This model is very similar to the old model. There are some improvements like the cooling unit in the freezer has a control knob. The led light in the main compartment is bright. The shelf's are clear and you can see what is below. WE like the extra shallow draw for cold cuts and sliced cheese. Had this feature on the old unit. We did get the additional ice-maker. Works well, you can hear the water filling the unit but we had a similar experience with the old unit. This is great unit for a great price.

We were looking for a nice, simple refrigerator for our garage to replace an ancient refrigerator that was having trouble keeping up with the varying temp changes in the garage. This one appeared to fit the bill based on the specs and reviews. So far, which has been a couple of months, it has performed excellently. Yes, it has none of the modern bells and whistles (everything is analog - the old-fashioned dials), but it has plenty of space and seems to keep everything at the temperature we want - around zero degrees for the freezer and around 35 degrees for the refrigerator. Of course, I'll know better come summer-time, but so far, so good.

I purchased this for my rental property to replace a Kenmore top of the line ( Made by LG) fridge that was 4 times the cost of this. The compressor failed prematurely on the one replaced. Very frustrating to have to have that expense. This fridge looked nice, had good positioning of shelving units. it appeared to be sturdy and has been holding up great! It cools excellent. no condensation. It is not loud when running. I would DEFINITELY recommend this as opposed to my mistake of spending so much more for the fancier one that I didn't even get 3 years out of.

Needed a replacement fridge for my garage. This is actually the 3rd one Best Buy delivered. Wrong fridge 1st try, 2nd damaged, so this one was recommended by salesperson for a quick replacement after a month. Works great in garage. Very Big. Door shelves are huge!! Hold a lot. Adjustable glass shelves. 2 bottom drawers and one under top shelf. I can get a case of 16.9oz water bottles in the bottom. Plenty of fridge space. Freezer has no light,a negative. Shelf not adjustable,another negative. It took a good 72-96 hours on initial setup to get and maintain temps. I put thermometers in both to monitor. Overall great for its purpose.

very nice fridge, but a few scratches on front door

I was just looking for a basic top freezer refrigerator. It feels the need and is very roomy. Very happy with his purchase and delivery was excellent and on time and very informative.

I had originally chosen a different fridge and ordered it online. The fridge I ordered was backordered for several months. This Whirlpool was available. I researched it extensively. The reviews said that it was loud and didn't keep the food cold. I decided to take a chance and purchased it. I have had it for two weeks now. It is not loud. It is a perfectly normal refrigerator. I am very pleased with my purchase! I did not want an electronic nightmare that would break in a million different ways and cost me a lot of money. This was perfect for my family's needs.

So far, works good. As expected. Takes 24 hours of running to actually get to desired settings. But I've heard that is normal for newer refrigerators. Had a few popping sounds on initial 24 hours, but none since. I also heard that is normal, as someone I know purchased a different brand and it did the same. Probably expansion of new parts on 1st time start up. Runs very quiet.

I purchased this fridge because it was almost identical to the one that just quit on me.......To date I have had one issue with the temperature inside the fridge.... it was freezing the items in the back, so I turned it down to the lowest setting and so far it seems to be better. Not loud like some of the other reviews said, and has ample room. I would have given this fridge all excellent marks except for that one temperature issue.

It's been about a month since I purchased this and I enjoy it very much It does what a refrigerator is suppose to do, keep the food cold. Read a lot of reviews on many refrigerator from top, side by side, bottom, and french and chose this model. Didn't need all the bells and whistles that just added to the price and later to the repairs. Love the fact shelves in the refrigerator are adjustable and glass, just wish the one in the freezer section wasn't a rack (can't stand racks). If anything changes I will update review.

I couldn't be happier with this purchase. The refrigerator is a great size that fits in my opening just right. The refrigerator and freezer compartments are much larger than what I had. I had an old GE refrigerator that was over 20 years old that this replaces. I chose not to get the ice dispenser. This has a lot more room in the refrigerator area as it's pretty wide. It holds much more than my last refrigerator and that's what I was looking for. I got it in black and it looks good though it does show fingerprints. I'm happy with my purchase.

We’ve needed a garage fridge for a while now and we were going to buy a older used one. Problem is that we don’t have a truck to bring it and it would be a hassle to rent or borrow one. Then this fridge went on sale for a great price and we decided to get it. We figured it would be in a hot garage and a good warranty would give us some peice of mind. It works perfectly, is quiet, and the back goes good with our garage. Plenty of space as well and seems to be efficient because we haven’t really noticed a change in our bill.

This is one of the biggest fridges that I could fit into my kitchen. I didn't want a french door or bottom freezer fridge. This fridge is huge compared to my old one! The reviewer that said that this fridge was loud clearly hasn't had a fridge before. My old Kenmore sounds like a 747 taking off compared to this one! You can hear a slight hum when it's running, but that's not irritating to me. Just tells me that it's keeping my food cold. Matches perfectly with my new range and dishwasher!

Mine was delivered with only one handle, but Best Buy had one ordered for me right away and a tech came out and installed the handles. Excellent!

This is a pretty good refrigerator. I’ve got it in my garage and it stays perfectly chilled. My two complaints are it does not have a light in the freezer and there is a plastic cover on the vents under the front door that snaps on and it has fallen off twice. It’s not a huge deal I just snap it back on but the fridge is less than a month old and It’s kind of annoying. Besides that it’s a solid fridge.

This refrigerator is very nice looking and has lot's of room. Have had it almost three weeks, it's working fine and hope it lasts a long time. Had a LG for two and half years and the compressor died.

I bought this fridge and had it delivered. The First time it had a big dent so refused it. The second delivery they tried to cancel. So we called them and came to sn arrangement for delivery. They came didn't even install the door handles, and not sure if they did the setup right.

My family was looking for a secondary fridge/freezer. Nothing to fancy just a backup. This one fits the bill just fine. No problems thus far hopefully it will stay that way. We were actually looking for a fridge freezer combo that was equally split but could not find one so we had to settle for this one. Not disappointed for what it is just could it find anyone exactly like we wanted. I would recommend it for your second refrigerator.

We love our new fridge! It is bigger than our original one. It does have low hum every once in a while but I don't mind it. The delivery people came in and out under 20 minutes to install everything, I was very impressed with everything!!
