This was just what we needed for our small space. Hard to find a frig without ice maker in door

The lights gently come on. When the door opens -- not shocking you with a bright light...NICE. Very clean lines...I keep the in the door H2o light on all the time & keep a hot pink plastic glass on that ledge so it glows at nite a hot pink enticing me to keep hydration levels high....my skin looks GREAT! Thank you, Whirlpool, for bringing design & enlightenment to my life.....terry van diver~

I absolutely love my fridge its just perfect for me and my family.

We were restricted in height and width of space but wanted a side by side refrigerator. The fridge is very nice and looks great but the freezer side is tiny! I didn't really think about that when choosing the product. I should have gone with the standard freezer on top or bottom or even a french style. The freezer side is really just too narrow to fit much of anything in it.

We purchased this refrigerator a year ago and constantly price match to the point I ended up saving $300 on it. Overall performs fine. The only noise I ever hear for it is when it is making ice which isn't that bad. What I do have an issue with is the Ice dispenser itself. If you want cubed ice you are more or less okay, but if you ever select crushed ice, it will go everywhere except in your cup. I knew that from previous reviews on the unit and pretty much stayed away from using it. After a year, some cosmetic wear and tear has shown up on the dispenser switch for water and ice. I'm not sure if we are pressing it too hard or if Whirlpool mailed it in on the quality of that part but it's pictured for you to see. I do recommend regularly cleaning the ice trap on the dispenser side and inside the door. If not be prepared for a colony to form on it.

This fridge was a great replacement. So far no problems tons of space,freezer is a little small but we barely use the freezer. Filter water is a plus. And it runs quite. Wish it was cheaper than its bigger brother lol

Overall it is a wonderful refrigerator. I bought it as a gift for my parents, (as their previous fridge was over 35 years old). I love the look and the quiet efficiency of it. The water/ice taste great. The top freezer shelf was missing when it arrived, so Best Buy is trying to resolve that issue. The freezer section is a little narrower than I would desire, but it's still workable. It's a really good refrigerator and my parents are happy with it, and so am I when I come to visit. :)

Only the doors are stainless steel, the rest being a grey textured surface. The operation is constant and quiet. Ice maker only makes noise after dispensing, and it is reasonably quiet (water replenishment). Doors hold plenty of containers, and there are enough shelves to organize food properly. Ice maker takes up significant freezer space, and dispenses ice very quickly, so ice tends to shoot out everywhere. You can choose crushed ice or cubes. Filtered water is good, and replacement filters are standard PUR fridge filters, and available at many stores. I purchased this item on sales, and was very happy with the free delivery service and haul away. Make sure to order the water connection kit if you want the water connected by the delivery people.

Well the capacity of the refrigerator side is low. The capacity of the freezer side is low too. The refrigerator is quiet when running. It seems to work well. It keeps food adequately cool at the top of the adjustment range. There is plenty of ice and water for us but the dispensers are not aligned properly and it is easy to get significant amounts of crushed ice on the floor. It seems to easily miss the glass. The water side works well. It seemed kind of pricey for what we got. I can't fault the construction or design of the refrigerator very much. The adjustable shelving is nice, but we are limited in the size of the food items that we can cool.

I purchased this refrigerator summer of 2014. Overall it seems to be a good product but I do have a few issues. First the icemaker - this was redesigned and ice gets stuck in the door. If you don't notice it it eventually falls on the floor which is aggravating.. My previous refrigerator was a Whirlpool and the icemaker was deeper and I didn't have this problem. They should have left this alone. The second issue is the shelves in the freezer. There is too much space between the rungs and things fall through. I kept the shelves from my previous refrigerator but of course the holes were slightly closer together in the new one so they would not fit. These should have been left alone too. I had space limitations for a refrigerator and that is why I bought this unit. Everything else is ok.

this fridge was just the right size that we were looking for. The freezer side is a bit small and the bottom drawer gets stuck but overall a good fridge

I love the fridge, it fits perfect in the small area I have and looks great! I wish the freezer was a bit bigger or more space on the door for things; however I guess that is what happens when you opt for a smaller fridge!

The refrigerator has tons of space. it has 3 drawers instead of 2 like many other models. I like the automatic ice and water in the door. The bonus is the refrigerator has a water filter. I had no idea that my well water to taste so good. I was concerned about the stainless steel staying clean and smudge free. But no worries, I used a stainless steel polish and it hides any smudges.

Needed something to fit our limited spacing and found this unit cheaper at Best Buy than Lowe's. Easy to install, internal filtration with easy access to replace when needed, lots of room for a family of four. Only con is when dispensing water, its loud. Icemaker loud too when making ice. I would recommend this unit simply because of the value you get at the price it sells. Simple and spacious.

It fit our space perfectly and works great! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the Freezer is very small. However to fit our space I guess it had to be small.

With just 3 of us, this is perfect size. My only complaint is the width of the freezer. Can barely fit a frozen pizza box in it. Other than that, I have no complaints.

I have a roommate and a girlfriend and this product works great for us. I wish there was a little more room in the freezer but this was the biggest fridge that would fit in the space we had. I would tell friends and family to get this product if they are on the fence.

Working fine after a month. Freezer area tho- VERY small - due to icemaker. Icemaker is noisey when dispensing but really makes a ton of cool cube size ice! Fit in my kitchen perfectly where few other models would. Has cold cut drawer and is quiet when running. If you can deal with the small freezer this is a good choice. I had to purchase a small chest freezer - that is super - so Best Buy really made out !!

Fridge and freezer sections work well. Ice maker did not work initially after install though Whirlpool warranty and service team have been excellent. Be aware when bringing the fridge/freezer into the house that if you need to take the doors off to fit through dorways - the water filter cartridge sticks out beyond the main frame so still creates a problem to maneuver.

This side by side is very nice. Definitely an upgrade from our old fridge. Really enjoy the water and ice dispenser on the front.
