Excellent quiet refrigerator. I am happy with the purchase. My refrigerator slot is right by my garage door and hence a double-door refrigerator would not have worked. This one worked out just perfect. Looks beautiful and elegant. There is ample space in the refrigerator section with an awesome bright LED light greeting you when you open the door. I gave it 4 stars just because the freezer section could have been designed a bit differently. Although the freezer section is big, the racks in freezer section do not make optimal use of the freezer space and leave unused space in the freezer. For example, you cannot stack stuff on top of another on the bottom rack since it will hit the above rack in the freezer. Therefore, the space in the freezer is a bit deceiving. Also, there is no way to get around it since you cannot remove those freezer racks. But other than the above, it is a beautiful refrigerator which I would recommend to anyone looking for a single door refrigerator.

I am very pleased with my whirlpool fridge. It is exactly what my kitchen needed. has remarkably steady temperatures, useful features, and lots of storage space for a bottom-freezer :)

    Great Roomy Refrigerator

The last refrigerator I bought from BB was less than two years ago. It turned out to be a lemon. It quit cooling(the refrigerator part, not the freezer and, it was very noisy) a year and a half after I had it. The warranty was 1 year. It was a Samsung. It was much fancier and it cost a few hundred less than this one did on sale. This Whirlpool is not as fancy, but its like night and day difference in performance, in every way . Much quieter, twice as roomy, and it keeps everything super cold set two settings lower(toward the end I had to run the Samsung on it's highest setting just to keep things slightly cool) than the other one! Samsung needs to stick with cell phones and TV's. So if you're looking for a great refrigerator at a great price(if its still on sale), this whirlpool model(and they been making appliances, and ONLY appliances, forever) is rockin.

Average refrigerator for a decent price. The unit is somewhat of a minimalists refrigerator. There is only an ice maker in the freezer and no fancy bells and whistles. This is what my wife and I wanted, simple = less to break, i.e. more reliable and lasting for the long haul. The refrigerator looks great (from a distance) and functions well. However, there are over half a dozen rust spots on the body of the fridge within a year or two. This leads me to believe that within a few to five years, this unit will become a garage fridge, as the rust spots will only grow over time. For the price point, the coating should be more durable or the body a true stainless steel. It's okay to use a cheap grade stainless steel or other materials, as long as it's properly treated/coated in order to ensure longevity. This unit is already rusting when installed inside a humidity and temperature controlled home. I consider this to not be acceptable given the price for a minimalists refrigerator.

I like the fridge because it is spacious and perfect size for a mid size family. The bottom freezer has two drawers and you can see exactly what you have in them unlike other models where narrow freezers make you plle food you end up forgetting. I didn't give it full 5 stars because it gets stained with fingerprints easily. I haven't found a product that keeps them clean longer.

Nothing like a bottom freezer. No stopping for the fridge contents and cold falls. All refrigerators simply blow cold air and it either blows up or down through a simple flapper.

This is a excellent value for a refrigerator of this size with these features. Great use of space in both the cool part as well as the freezer. While I didn't understand the value of a bottom freezer, I do now and I love it. Much easier to unload groceries and frozen items. It's quiet and the food stays fresher than in my old one. I was also delighted with the Best Buy delivery. Great communication around delivery instructions and estimated time of arrival. The guys efficiently removed the old unit and unpacked and installed the new one. Best choice I could have made.

Very pleased with the capacity of both the refrigerator and freezer. Very convenient with refrigerator on top. No bending over to see what's in the back of the shelves. It is noisier than what I wanted and motor runs more than I thought it would. I can hear it in the next room when watching TV. SS adds class to my kitchen. If you don't mind the noisy motor I'd recommend it.

I've owned Whirlpool appliances for 23 years, so I decided to stick with a trusted brand. When Best Buy delivered the refrigerator, it had several dents on the side. Best Buy compensated me for the damage. Then within the first week, the freezer frosted over. Again Best Buy stood by their product and delivered another refrigerator. The 2nd refrigerator had a slight flaw on the door. We solved that problem by swapping the doors. This refrigerator is louder than the 19 year old refrigerator that it replaced. Other than those issues I am fairly happy with this frig. It has taken some time to adjust to a smaller refrigerator. I went from a 26 cu. ft. to a 21.9 cu. ft. That was a mistake. I don't think I would buy this refrigerator again. On a positive note, KUDOS to Best Buy for their customer service!

For the price, this is an excellent refrigerator. Does everything we need. Does not have a water filter and no cold water either in the door or inside, but we were willing to give that up for the size and price.

This product is one month old. So to give it 5 stars takes away from future possible issue. Right now, this minute, its a 5! Great inside space, perfect fit, makes great ice cubes, love the door and how it holds everything. Crossing my firgers for a life span like my Sears Kenmore fridge! (15yrs)

This is my 3rd bottom freezer. First Whirlpool. Have had installed now for little over a month. Dropped the french door models with all its issues and sticking to the single door models. First- its quiet. Second - the temp control is as predicted when the compressors kick on (plus minus 1 degree is spot on). Next- had to change around shelving configuration - was easily done with both in-door and glass shelves. The drawers seem to be better constructed and easily slip on and off for cleaning. Easily moved fridge by myself-for accessing the back to clean intake screens. Nothing new but prior refrigerators were so heavy and wheels used said models were lacking made this task difficult. Cosmetically- its much easier to keep clean and to keep _looking clean. Only regret - the switchable handle leaves screws exposed on the unused side -simple, cosmetic. Truthfully have not yet contacted whirlpool to see if they have something to cover the screws. Have no mechanical woes as of yet. Will update if and when we do.

For the price, this is a nice refrigerator. It fits well in our smallish space in the kitchen, and the bottom freezer (a new feature for us) is easy to use. All the shelving and drawers function perfectly, as does the ice maker. We have no complaints, although I'd still like to meet the person who got Americans convinced to go with stainless steel appliance finishes. :)

Setup guys came and carefully handled and placed the fridge. It's working great and I'm happy with the price. Doesn't have a water filter but that's ok. There's lots of space in the fridge and it's neatly designed. Like the spill proof shelves and the fact that they are glass and not cheap plastic, so easy to clean. Con are, fridge has one wide door so it opens up all the way if you don't hold it. Fridge has small wheels at the bottom so it keeps coming forward every few days so we have to push it back. Not sure if theres a lock to stop it. Exterior front build quality isn't there best but it's workable.
