This is my first French door style refrigerator and I really like it. It's quieter than my previous side-by-side refrigerator but probably holds the same amount of food. Two things to be aware of is that it's about an inch and a half deeper than standard size refrigerators and the ice maker protrudes along the top left of the inside of the refrigerator. Other than that, I really like it.

Got this fridge about a year ago for our family home and it has been nothing but perfect (except for two small things - more on that below). The capacity is great, and the drawer is perfect for produce - and you can lay it all out and SEE IT. The freezer is spacious and require no attention. We often have 8+ people in the house for days and this fridge can keep up with us, and has the room to do so! Now, two things to note that we don't love. First, anything you put near the cold air vent up on the top left of the fridge will freeze. I've spoiled sour cream, etc. This is now where we keep things like shrimp, fish, etc as it keeps it SUPER cold. The second problem is the ice maker can't really keep up with us. Even when there is just 4 of us we find we tend to run out of ice. We make and keep a few backup bags in the freezer but something to be aware of. Anyways - it's a FANTASTIC fridge, and we bought one for our own home we liked it so much.

Spacious, well organized, love the middle drawer, decent price

I am writing this review after 3 years and within these 3 years this refrigerator is still going without any problems. It tells me when it is time to order the filters and time to replace it. Plenty of space to the point where we do forget we have stuff in there because everything else gets put in the front.

This Refrigerator is extremely spacious, drawers within drawers, so many shelves and storage area. The design of the refrigerator is awesome. The french door opens to a bright roomy area with adjustable shelves. The double drawers look great inside and out. The additional basket drawers for frozen foods are a big plus! Water dispenser and icemaker works well. The beeping alarm for the fridge is not too loud and a good reminder. Very pleased with this purchase.

Looks really nice. The middle drawer comes in handy. Can’t believe how much we use it. Only bad thing is you can accidentally turn off the ice maker if the door keypad isn’t locked.

This has been a really good fridge for us. I don't know if this is an upgraded model or not, but ours has served us well. The additional drawer is great for the kiddo's snacks or lunch for the next day. Filter changes are relatively painless. My only complaint is that the ice maker has "clogged up" with ice cubes becoming a big block and will not come out. This has only happened a few times and was a quick fix by just digging it out as it has easy access. Would buy again.

Bought this for my daughter’s new apartment and it’s absolutely beautiful. She and her boyfriend love it. It’s very roomy and it has all the bells and whistles you could hope for. And you can’t go wrong with Whirlpool. Recommend.

I have never been so happy with a driver at or in my life, that is not really something you get excited about! But this fridge has so many good points about it. I love the middle drawer where I put my whole grains, nuts and flours. The main inside has so much room and cool compartments, sliding glass doors where I put yogurt tubes for my grandchildren to reach in and get! The freezer has drawers and deep spaces for excellent storage. So I just wanted you all to know this is one fine refrigerator!!!

This is the perfect refrigerator for us. We did try to get the next largest model, but when Best Buy delivered, it simply wouldn’t fit. I was concerned it would be too small, but the organizational space is amazing and the drawer is a huge plus. We have experienced none any of the negatives other reviewers have mentioned and are totally happy with this purchase. It has actually exceeded my expectations. Thank you Best Bey for excellent customer service and Whirlpool for a great product.

I cannot recommend this model. We bought this a few years back and I finally just had enough and had to write a review. Yeah, it cools and freezes, there is no issue with that. The led lights in the fridge dim and you can barely see what is going on, the replacement is about $60. Two years in I replaced it the first time, few months back it happened again and just now again. The ice maker sounds like a great idea but it keeps getting clogged, stops making ice or doesn't stop and overflows you with cubes. Get yourself a better model than this, BestBuy has a lot of great options, but Whirlpool should not be in your top 5.

Love the style of this fridge and has plenty of room. Was somewhat wary when looking for a new fridge since many reviews stated it was noisy. Well, so far the compressor noise hasn’t been too bad and can live with it. However, after about a month and a half, the fridge has started to make a loud popping noise when the compressor is running. Very annoying since it seems to be doing it more and more frequently and goes on for about 30-45 min each time. I hate the thought of having someone come look at it since it’s a brand new fridge. Might have been better to take our old GE to new house than having to deal with irritating problems of this whirlpool model

Having the 4 drawers are perfect for me. I eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables; they fit perfectly in the top drawer, I can easily sort them there and I don't have to stand with the doors open digging through a bucket in my previous fridge. I do wish the doors could accommodate storing eggs.

Problem with the ice Maker and hard to clean the Freezer

Great choice if you want to refresh your kitchen appliances. Looks expensive but great price. Really enjoy the cooling drawer instead of opening up both french doors. Fridge is very quiet & I believe there is a fan that circulates the air when compressor is off. This is a good buy!

Very please with my purchased we have 3 kids this refrigerator it's what we've been looking for it's very spacious , love everything about it , we purchased it on thanks giving black Friday i'ts almost a month and it's quiet too , like i said so far so great.

Have had for a little over 3 years. Had to have geek squad out twice for icemaker. It gets stuck or won't freeze and nothing comes out until I open ice maker and shake it around a little bit. Also there are some spots towards the bottom of the fridge that are already starting to rust and I don't know how because I always dry it after I clean it with a washcloth. This is for the fridge that does not have fingerprint resistant.

Bought this refrigerator in Nov, 2018 during Black Friday sale. It worked great till about some time back (except for the loud noise that it makes), but now the LED light in the fridge has stopped working. It started going dim about a month back. I expected everything to work without issues for much longer in a Whirlpool refrigerator.

I seldom write reviews unless they are far above or below expectations. And this one, is the very rock bottom. I realize this purchase was about three years ago, but I feel as if refrigerators should give you at LEAST 10 years of solid performance. But the daily reminder that I made a horrible choice with this was too much to ignore. If I can save ONE consumer considering to buy one of these new or used, it was worth it. Where to begin…. 1. Noise- it seems to have to run constantly, which is kind of strange in itself. And when it does, it sounds like an electrical line was severed in your kitchen. 2. Temperature deficiencies- despite cooling things in the drawers and lower shelves about to the temp you’d like, it freezes practically anything on the upper shelf and close to the ice hopper. Lettuce practically anywhere in the unit freezes. Even pickles get icicles. And yes…I’ve studied the internet wisdom and have tried a variety of temps. Major bummer. 3. Impractical design - Want to pull out drawers and shelves easily to clean them every so often?? Not with this guy! Most of that stuff is either extremely non-intuitive and/or land locked into place. You gotta climb inside to sweep out the crumbs and spills. 4. Minor gripe list- have to defrost more than usual to prevent a blizzard in freezer; space is way less efficient than dimensions should allow. Freezer and fridge space seems to easily fill up with not a lot of food; Door open sensor does not always let you know door is ajar. You can go a day with an open door. Ugg. I leave near Whirlpool headquarters and know lots of current and former employees. But I am pretty sure I’ll never buy their products after this experience. Made me remember the old term when they’d call a dud car a Lemon. This fridge is that….and it freezes lemons to boot. Steer clear of ANY Whirlpool refrigerators. I’m looking at LG as my go to moving forward.
