This is such an amazing fridge! We bought one for our shared family house, and it's big enough to handle that place when it's full. My sister got one for her place and loves it. My coworker got one and loves it. Mine arrives tomorrow. :)

We have owned this refrigerator for nearly 4 years. It has been a disappointment in several ways: the extended warranty from Best Buy that was not an honest extended warranty, and the icemaker on the refrigerator itself. The icemaker quit and we thought we were covered by the extended warranty. Nope, because the "extended" warranty does not start when the manufacturer's warranty ends - it runs CONCURRENT with it. Nice. I was reminded why I stopped buying from BestBuy several years ago, and I am right back to that position. So with the icemaker not working on a young, $3000.00 refrigerator and the prospect of a very expensive repair bill, I did all the legwork to source a replace icemaker and tutorial on how to replace it myself. Success. With $150.00 in parts and a considerable amount of my time, the icemaker was working again. Then the icemaker malfunctioned again, and would only produce crushed ice. More research, $70.00 for a new solenoid, and more of my time and we have cubed ice again. Now, the icemaker - very regularly - stops making ice and we don't find out until the bin is empty. We have to re-start the refrigerator every day or two to keep it going. It is not a problem with the ice bin level arm - unless there is some non-physical sensor in there I have learned about. Given all of this, I think giving 3 stars is generous. We bought Whirlpool because we thought we would get reliability we have not had with other brands. It has not been the case.

My previous fridge was lg that we replaced after 16 years. Light bulb blew out and we unscrewed the old one and put in a new one we purchased for a few bucks. Whirlpool, its led, our failed after 3 years, part is like 60 dollars. Each rev of this fridge uses a different design, so when you find instructions they might not match. The light in the middle drawer also failed but the worker that assembled our fridge didnt leave any extra wire and the connector is way up inside the fridge where only someone with really long finger like ET can reach it. The door seal also seems to rip on the right door and a new seal is over 100 dollars

Avoid this fridge if you have an open floor plan. I measured the dB at 50-70 during normal operating conditions. This is louder than someone talking in your kitchen. The fridge looks good, don't get me wrong. I like the space, although it's not used for maximum efficiency. Ex. there are shelves that are so short under the ice maker you can't possibly put anything there.

The water keeps leaking into the freezer (bottom drawer) and freezing the drawer shut. I had someone come out and fix it (at least so I though) but it keeps happening. Good thing I have a freezer in the garage because I can't use the one on the refrigerator. I have had it for three years and up until this point it has worked very well. This refrigerator was delivered today and I have to say, I was surprised to find that the entire unit is not stainless steel, just the front. The sides are a gray color that is, quite frankly, ugly. I live in an older home and it does not sit recessed and the sides are exposed. I do not see in the product description anywhere that explains this refrigerator is not entirely stainless steel. I feel like this is deceptive advertising. Had I realized, I would have gone with the black refrigerator which would have been more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

It’s beautiful and I love the drawer (we call it our bougie drawer), but there’s a couple major flaws: - The water dispenser drips just pool, there’s no proper catch to hold or absorb it, so if you open the door after someone got water or ice, is just splashes onto the floor. - The ice dispenser is super erratic; gets jammed a lot, won’t drop any, then drops a ton. - And now the ice maker is loud when the water fills, and has started to leak or overfill, causing a giant brick of ice that we keep having to run water over to melt and try again. Having to get it serviced and we’ve only had it 3 years.

I ordered this refrigerator on June 9th, with a scheduled delivery date of June 18th. Upon the delivery person's arrival, I discovered the refrigerator was damaged. When asked if I still wanted to accept it, I declined and requested a replacement. I contacted customer service, and they informed me that the next available delivery date would be June 20th. To my dismay, I received a call today, on the scheduled delivery day, informing me that the delivery would be postponed until Saturday, June 28th. I must express my disappointment with Best Buy. Considering the circumstances, especially in the Texas summer, with no refrigerator, having already sold my old one, and with four children at home, this situation is quite challenging. I am a member, and it seems my concerns are not being prioritized. The customer service representative suggested I purchase a mini-fridge as a temporary solution. Considering I have already spent $2,000 with Best Buy, this suggestion is not satisfactory. I am seriously considering canceling my membership and taking my business to Lowe's or Home Depot.

Had this fridge for a couple of weeks now : ~Overall design is good ~No current temperatures indicator as mentioned by one other reviewer. Now how do we know the fridge is performing at the recommended temperatures setting ? ~ With so many feature to add, Whirlpool decides to put in the SABBATH function in this model instead ? NOT anti any religious in any way, but is this really neccessarry ? Will be returning based on this added feature alone ! It's highly insensitive to the other religious group imho. ~ Ice maker is a major flaw. Ice clogs up and creates a mess from time to time. ~ Freezer froze up with ice on the sliding doors and prevent the door from being opened. ~ Called customer service and was told to return the fridge ? So we will have to make his wish come true and buy another brand I guess.

The door shelving is not very useful at all. There is very little space for regular size condiments like, katsup, mustard, mayo & salad dressing and the drawers in the top part of the fridge make it hard to have taller items like juices, milk & taller stuff. Also, it rolls toooo much. This thing needs brakes. It roll every time you open and close it, which can cause the doors to not close completely.

My previous fridge was a high sense garbage I love this new fridge by whirlpool the icemaker water dispenser are awesome

I’ve owned this fridge for four years now, not one problem. The only thing I don’t like about it is the ice maker takes up too much space in the fridge. I love the drawer. Great fridge!

Ontime service. Whirlpool is a good product line. We have had good experience in the past with Whirlpool.

I guess it does its job as that's the reason I needed this thing. Should have stuck with the cheap $400 fridge because everything else on this Whirlpool is a waste of money. Now, if you like your ice cubes shaved into a fine snow-like crystal, this just might be the perfect buy. All you have to do is select the full ice cube option...it will fill any glass with ice shavings in just a few short minutes. It will make a terrible noise, but you won't notice as it always makes noise. Save your money and definitely switch brands!

If your looking for a refrigerator with ice do not buy this one. Bought in Oct. 2022 with extended (4 year) repair/exchange policy. First year Whirlpool came SIX times to repair ice maker, two of those visits they brought the part they know is defective. NOW, Best Buy has been out twice for the same problem and REFUSE to exchange it because the ice maker is an accessory NOT covered or part of the refrigerator. After EIGHT service calls it sits broken again awaiting another part. The average wait for a service call is NINE days!!

First one delivered dented, refused delivery. Second one had a bad interior fan... sounded like it was grinding when spinning up. Exchanged it, and this one is better but seems to have a bad fan as well but not sure which one. Not as bad as the other unit, but it is very annoying oscillating hum at times. Will have to decide quickly to either return this for a different brand or get Whirlpool out to fix the fan. Other than being a noisy fridge, I wish the freezer's top drawer was less deep in order to allow boxes of frozen food from Costco to fit vertically. Just need like another half inch. I also wish I had checked the two humidity controlled drawers as one of them is not riding the rails properly and is hard to open/close. I could have swapped it with one from the returning fridge. Will see what Whirlpool does about that as well.

Does the job but I am having trouble changing the light inside that went out after only 3 years

This is, without a doubt, the LOUDEST appliance I've ever encountered in my life!! The water filling the ice tray, the ice dump, are so loud. It also just randomly makes noise all the time. When the noise does occasionally stop, it's very noticeable. I would NEVER recommend this item.
