Oblong storage in left door, the ice maker inside the fridge versus the door takes up quite a bit of space. Ended up buying a mini freezer chest that added about 7 cubic feet. Would not recommend for a family size larger than 2.

I even included photos. Serviced 4 times within first year. Fire hazard! Huge plume of smoke came out of freezer, smells like burning electrical. Whirlpool customer service will not help. They keep sending the same repair people out who say they are awaiting parts for months now. The freezer door was lopsided and causing everything to be thrown off. Keeps tripping my breaker and came home from vacation to thousands of dollars in rotten food. I sleep on edge with a fire extinguisher because I can't live months without a refrigerator. Whirlpool had the nerve to tell me to buy a new dorm room fridge until they can fix it... they actually admitted that the quality control at their factory has been nonexistent due to covid labor shortages, and they pump out faulty refrigerators. Their line is so busy, it is hard to get someone on the phone. Complete lemon. $3k down the tubes. This should be illegal to do to a family. Check Whirlpool reviews on Facebook. Many problems!

The space inside was not very practical for us. The ice maker took up lot of room if the left side. Also, the deliver folks damaged it upon delivery. Best Buy was great about the exchange.

Not worth the headache

The ice build up causes it to collect and then makes a huge mess when you open the door. I was very disappointed with this purchase.
