What an improvement (so far)! We just replaced our refrigerator of twenty-seven plus years and all is "new and improved". this is our third refrigerator with the first one given to our son after college and that refrigerator was approximately twenty-five years. Having said that; you can imagine my sticker price shock. even so, I would recommend this fridge to a friend or even a non-friend.

I have a small kitchen and find a refrigerator that would fit but not cost an arm and a leg was difficult. I didn't want an old style unit, and a standard French Door one wouldn't work. After measuring at least a dozen times it looked like it would fit. And it did. We did a little shoehorn action but it went in and is working great. I've had Whirlpool products for decades and never had a problem. Installers were great.

Pro - easy to use, works well. Best buy sales process was great. I was looking at Lowes before and they had very specific installation requirements that many older homes don't accommodate (e.g. a water shut off valve behind the refrigerator). Best Buy had no issues and just needed the master house water turned off which made things easy. Con - I had several issues with the installation. 1) it couldn't fit up the stairs so they asked me to remove the rail...this cost $200. 2) They delivered one without a working plug (see pic). 3) Another faulty product delivered with a broken freezer door (website won't let me upload the video).

I've just had this a few weeks. It replaced a "higher end" Samsunug unit I've had for several years - and the reason for replacement was constant problems with the Samsung freezer compartment\fan and ice making equipment. With this unit I opted for no in-door ice maker and dispenser for exactly that reason. This fridge seems nicely designed and the price, on sale, was reasonable. Cools nicely, very roomy. Like the french door design where I can see everything easier, and I seem to have a place for everything. Two things I dislike about it; a) someone left the freezer drawer open a crack and I don't believe there is an alarm for this - and the freezer's contents all frosted up quickly. b) the veggie drawers are kind of cheap quality plastic and I can tell already that if I load heave veggies into them (like bags of carrots, etc), they will likely stick and break when opened or closed.

To begin with, I got this item for $999 during the black Friday sales. I am a bargain shopper and I saw a lot of fridges within this price range and other better ones for a few hundred $$$ more. I would not spend more than $1200 on this refrigerator. It does not have a water/ice dispenser through the door, but it does have an ice maker in the bottom freezer compartment. I purposely bought like this and I am not taking points/starts because of that. I like my belongings/appliances to have a sleek and clean look. (simple). The less mechanical items moving, the lesser the the problems will be down the road. The internal space is approximately 25 cubic inches, and I have space to spare. (It's used in a two person household). The temperatures are great, the minimal options are effective and simple. The moisture control is a blessing and works wonders. Stainless steel makes the kitchen look a lot better, even though my kitchen is already updated, it still enhanced a bit more. So far I am content with it, I have no regrets and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to spend $1200 or less.

We love the space in this Whirlpool WRF535SMBM 24.8 cu. ft. French door refrigerator. The one we had before was 20 years old and so hard to get to things and difficult to organize. This makes it easy to organize and retrieve food. I am short and my husband is tall and it is works for both of us. I am not a fan of stainless steel but chose this after looking at many refrigerators and reading reviews. The stainless steel was on sale for nearly 1/2 price so I decided to save several hundred $, I would learn to like it. I still don't like the smudges, but we love the fridge. We've had it for about 4 months and still really like it. Best Buy Customer Service was great. The delivery guys were the absolute best and took their time. They were AWESOME! We have very narrow doors (old farmhouse) and they took their time and took doors off the refrigerator and made sure when it was installed they put it back together and everything was level and spot on. They were there for a couple of hours and didn't act rushed or frustrated. Can't say enough good things about them!

I really like this fridge with only 2 exceptions. It shows every fingerprint and smear so if your ocd like me this model isn't for you. You will be spending most of your day cleaning the fingerprints off the fridge.....My only other problem with this fridge isn't really it's fault.....lol it's my 2 yr old ....She thinks it's great that she can see in the freezer and get the freeze pops out all by herself.....That's going to be an easy fix ....with a couple of time outs and no treats she'll catch on quick.....until then my freezer gets opened a few dozen times a day : ( Other than that the space is great...you can fit 2 gals of milk on the doors which frees up the shelves....I can't say enough good things about this fridge....I hope you enjoy.....ps it comes in black if you don't want to deal with fingerprints

I saw this fridge and couldn't believe it was under $1000.00! But it was!!! The look itself sold me. It don't have the ice maker on the door which don't bother me too much. It does have one in the freezer drawer. Extremely spacious

Refrigerator portion is large and has lots of options for configuring the space. Door space was large, although would be nice to have another shelf to get more smaller items into the door cavity. Freezer wasn't as easy to work with as we'd hoped. Wire baskets felt heavier duty than plastic baskets on other models but then items looked like they might fall through. The surface was not easy to keep clean. We were forever trying to clean fingerprints off and there were so many "don't use" things that we were afraid to use anything on it. I also thought it a little loud for an open kitchen...but nothing that we couldn't have gotten used to. Decided to return for a counter depth. Overall it was a good fridge...just not great.

So far so good. The price was fantastic. I was a bit concerned it would be cheap or otherwise missing features once I started to use it, but that is not the case. Both freezer and fridge get extremely cold. Space is great for a family of four who eat at home a lot. I love the stainless steel look. The g/friend who is the chef has been very happy.

It has plenty of room and like the French doors on top and single door for the freezer. They delivered my frig early and the two men were quick, neat, and polite. I would recommend the frig and Best Buy to my friends and family.

price was right, free delivery and removal, it was a no brainer. runs quiet and perfect for what i need. big fan of the bottom drawer freezer and french doors. easy to configure shelves and doors just like you want them and crisper drawer is perrect.

This refrigerator has a very like look to it. There is plenty of room inside and the doors open and shut very well. This fridge does not have some of the bells and whistles that more expensive fridges do, but in my opinion, a much cleaner look. For the money, I don't think you could do better.

While shopping for a fridge, i noticed there were a lot of deals on Samsung and LG french doors but almost all of them have their consistent complaints about noise and how much of a hassle they are for repairmen to fix. So i came across this whirlpool which didn't seem to have much functional complaints at all. The only negative thing seems to be the ice maker, i haven't hooked it up but if you left it on then it makes loud noises (must be trying to pump water?). Anyway i never planned on using the ice maker so this fridge really does what i want and remains quiet.

My wife & I wanted a stainless steel unit with the freezer at the bottom and the Whirpool at BestBuy had a great price. We looked at the same model at other stores and it was higher. The BestBuy delivery guys had to take the refrigerator doors off the get it in the house. They took their time to ensure that it was done properly with no damage to the unit (or the house). There is more refrigerator space and less freezer space in this model but it is adequate for our needs and we love it. I like the fact that there is no water in the door and no costly filter to replace.

We love this fridge. The French doors make fitting large pans easy and all of the door storage keeps things neat. The ice maker makes ice and works very well too. The Only problem we have is that the freezer light works and then it doesn't. Other than that small thing its been great.

Our 12 year old fridge finally gave out and we had to get a new one. I do not buy any large purchase without doing a lot of research that I'm getting the best deal! I shopped every local dealer, garage sale, scratch/dent etc. to compare prices. Best buy was having a great sale on appliances plus I got to apply a limited time 20% off coupon on top of the sale price. This fridge is amazing. I eat more grapes than I ever have because the fruit/veggie drawer keeps my produce so fresh! It seriously keeps my produce fresher longer. I would have bought this at full prices years ago if I had known this. I love the space and super cool lighting inside. I don't need the ice maker so haven't tried that yet. Overall, this fridge rocks! It fits perfectly in our shoebox size townhome kitchen too. Super pleased with best buy on this amazing deal!
