Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the 24" Built-In Dishwasher's quiet operation, cleaning ability, and ease of use, with many praising its sleek design and large capacity. However, some customers expressed concerns regarding the length of wash cycles and the design of the silverware holder. A few also reported issues with the top rack's durability and, in some cases, a lingering odor. Overall, positive feedback outweighs negative comments regarding this dishwasher model.

I love the looks of this dishwasher and the size, but the buttons are easily pushed while closing the door. It also gets a terrible order if not ran every day.

Purchased a full whirpool set of kitchen appliances and this is our favorite item! Coming from a 20 year old dishwasher, this unit is whisper quiet and does a great job of cleaning dishes. Normal wash with normal drying does take a long time to run (would guess it's around 2.5 hours), but there is an option for a 1 hour wash that we have not triend yet.

I say this up front, we had a kitchen-aid that we loved, for last 3 years, but it had one of those gremlin type odd errors that wasn't work spending more money on trying fix. Kitchenaid is generally considered the setup line from Whirlpool, however we decided to try this Whirlpool model when the other died. It looks great and has the basic features we care about. It does clean well, so all good at the basic "what it must do". My issues and observations and why I can not give it 5 stars and struggled with 4. 1) While the spec say 1 DB (47) higher than the 46db kitchen aide it replaced, it is NOT that close. Either we got super lucky with the 46db Kitchenaide or the this Whirlpool is just not really 47, it is still much quieter than what we had 6 years ago, but it is NOT even close to how quiet the 46db unit was...so something is not right there, which is disappointing, when noise is a big factor for purchase. 2) Personal preference but my wife and I loathe (yes loathe) the silverware basket. They desinged it to be outside the main bottom wash rack, to give more space. Here is the irony, the basket is way to small, unless all you wash is big pots and pans and few place settings you will run out of room to properly space your silverware way to fast (at least with our silverware that uses the angled slots) . I really dislike the door mount approach as this just doesn't lend itself to easy loading and unloading. The alternate is to mount on front of the bottom drawer, but it falls off way to easy, and block reaching in access to the drawer. If you pull on it, to pull the drawer out (as designed) it pops off. Really not well thought out. Now we will be spending more money on a bigger after market basket. Those two things may sound petty but on an appliance right in the center of your kitchen and with a busy family that uses it multiple times a day...the aggravation adds up.

This is the quietest dishwasher I have ever owned and my dishes get clean ever time. The dish rack is designed very well. I can get a lot of dishes and flatware in each load. Easy to use. I have used this dishwasher every day for the last six months and it has done a great job.

I already purchased Whirlpool refrigerator, so I wanted to match the dishwasher with it. This one was the best for the price. It has stainless steel inside and outside, it is quiet and most important it cleans perfectly.

I love my new dishwasher!! It’s so quiet I have to do a double take to make sure it started! The controls are where little fingers can’t press them! It gets the dishes completely clean even when I don’t rinse them! Looks great, works great!

We owned a previous Whirlpool Quiet Partner II. Based on the level of quietness of our new Whirlpool dishwasher, I would nickname it a Quiet Partner 20! We are shocked that we only hear the sound water draining out. It was a great decision to get the stainless steel tub. We could not believe how sparkling our silverware and dishes are with the new dishwasher! Our only complaint is that it does not dry as well as our old one. We not only use Jet dry but also it on the extra dry cycle.

This dishwasher does its job. It cleans well and is quite. My only complaint is that the silverware box is way to small - my 15 year old GE was much better in this regard.

I love this dishwasher. I can put more in it than any dishwasher I have had. The stainless steel inside always looks clean and shiny. My dishes come outs sparkling clean. I love having the silverware in the door but the design takes a bit of getting used to.

Quiet, efficient, easy to use. This replaces a 20 year old dishwasher and washer well and dries so much better. It does have a greater cycle time, but it appears that all new ones do, for energy efficiency.

We moved to a new home and purchased the dishwasher a second time (first was in the previous home during kitchen remodel). This whirlpool is clean, efficient, and reliable. Initially went with GE and it was terrible. The GE leaked, even after a service call and quality could have been better. Comparing to the Whirlpool, the GE was missing insulation (both sound and heat) rubber edging to cover up the screw locations on the side, and the stainless steel didn't seem to hold up as good as the Whirlpool. Lesson learned, stick with Whirlpool.

We are loving having a dishwasher again! Like the stainless steel inside and that the top shelf can be moved up or down. Like the silverware basked on the door as well. Like the different options just in case you need them. Like the sani-wash to get the dishes extra clean incase someone is sick in the house. We had it install through Best Buy and they were great!

This dishwasher has room for over a dozen large dishes, salad bowls and all associated silverware and glasses. It's so quiet you can't hear it washing at all! And the dishes are sparkling clean. We couldn't be more pleased!

I would have given it 5 stars however i was the one that installed it and It did not come with any fittings for the water line hook up. It requires a 3/4" to 3/8" elbow - It always needs this adapter regardless of your home so it required a special trip. Not a big deal but for $499 you would think they could provide a necessary part that would only cost them .50 cents. Other than that I love it and it has been working flawlessly for over a month now. Very quiet, wine glasses come out sparkling with no water spots (need keep the drying liquid reservoir filled). The upper rack is adjustable up and down which is great if you have something large on the bottom and need a little extra headroom.

If you carefully follow the manyfacturers directions (put dishes in very dirty, but not dried on gunk) this dishwasher works better than any other! The shkrt cycle (one hour) is wonderful if you are in a rush, and cleans great. We have moved out of the home we bought it for, and I wish we could have brought it with us - because I cannot find another. I would purchase this one over and over. The benfit of the insualtion and super quiet sound is a wonderful benefit as well; we had no idea it was possible for a dishwasher to be so quiet.
