Glad we chose this model!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We love this Whirlpool dishwasher! The 3 racks come in handy and it cleans beautifully. It runs so quietly that we had to make sure it was really washing at first! Also, even though it takes over 3 hours from start to finished drying in the normal wash to save water, we also like that it has a 1-hour option when you have those days when you are cooking a lot. Top all of that off with the excellent fingerprint resistant stainless steel and it’s an unbeatable combination.

Almost perfect
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the look. Love the style. Love the 3rd shelf on top. It cleans everything well. The only thing I don’t love is the SMELL. If you put any dirty dishes in there for even a half day. Like you better be ready to run it! Otherwise, it’s very quiet and it’s all dry after a cycle.

SHH... QUIET
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dishwasher is the quietest I’ve ever owned and I’m 61. The 3rd rack is convenient and the adjustable 2nd rack makes it even better! A lot of reviews mention drying issues... you must use a good rinse/dry aid in ALL new High efficiency dishwashers! I am very happy with my purchase and Best Buy installation was outstanding.

Quiet Dishwasher
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dishwasher is very quiet. I like the black stainless steel finish. I was worried because it didn't have the fingerprint resistant surface. That doesn't seem to be an issue. It stays pretty clean with two kids. I sometimes hit the buttons when I'm loading it but that's only mildly annoying. My biggest issue is with where the detergent compartment is located. Since the silverware holder is in the door, it's difficult to get it out when it's full because it hits into the detergent compartment. I would still recommend the dishwasher though.

Quite a machine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the quietest dishwasher I have ever owned and highly recommend it. But make sure you use a rinse aid when you run the dishwasher otherwise the stainless steel liner and your dishes will be wet no matter how long you run the dishwasher. The rinse is the trick to dry dishes.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good! Only had for maybe 3 weeks. Alot quieter then my last model. Im enjoying having the 3rd shelf. Using it for all my lock and lock plastic lids and travel mug lids

Love the 3rd rack
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great dishwasher for the price. We found it on sale at a different store and Best Buy matched it with no problem. It is very quiet and the dishes come out so clean! I love the third rack to put wooden spoons, spatulas and extra silverware to free up space in the second rack for glasses, mugs, bowls, etc., The silverware basket is not as large as some other models, but the nice thing is it is narrow and it can be moved to three different locations depending on your preference. I normally run a 1 hour was and heated dry cycle which takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Very quiet!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I will say, it’s a very quiet when it runs. Def love my top rack for large utensils. Seems to clean & heat dry as well as my prior Kitchen Aid. They recommend you use pods for better efficiency & avoid a white film but, you can use liquid dishwasher soap. Again, love the black stainless colors/appearance. Silverware rack is inside the door to save space. (You can remove it to use in the bottom rack)You can’t put heavy knives in the ends of the rack if it is on the inside door. The knives will stick up or fall out. I put them more in the center of the rack. Be careful..once and awhile a knife will get stuck upward a bit & will get caught on the lower rack when rolling it inside. Otherwise, enjoying my new appliances.

Great Dishwasher!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The unit looks nice and works flawlessly. It's pretty quiet and has lots of settings in case you want to get a deeper clean. The 3rd rack is pretty flat but its good for lids and some spatulas. The top rack is deep and recessed which is good for large cups/glasses to not hit the top of the dishwasher when pushing the rack back. The silverware pockets in the front save space elsewhere to add more plates and they come out nice and clean. The internal stainless just looks nicer than the old plastic ones we've had in the past. I would def buy this again.

Super quiet and effective
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This replaced a very dysfunctional dishwasher, so my standard of comparison is weak, but we love it. It is super quiet, and dishes come out clean. We don't use a heated dry cycle, and they seem wetter than they were in our old washer when done, but it mostly only affects the plastic items, which I think is typical. It holds a shocking number of plates for us. We have run out of clean plates more than once since we got it because it holds so many. The third rack is a nice addition too.

Awesome dishwasher!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hands down the best dishwasher I've ever owned. What I like about this dishwasher is the drawer at the top where I can place small or odd-size items like spatulas and serving spoons. It's so quiet that I sometimes think I forgot to turn it on. It's huge inside, great for a large family. It does take longer to wash, the cycles are longer, even though it is energy-efficient so I use it at night. Naturally, it washes ad dry dishes well.

So quiet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finally have a dishwasher that gets my dishes clean! It is super quiet. It does take a long time to run. But that's OK. I looks very nice without buttons on the front.

Could have been better
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was really looking forward to my new dishwasher. My old whirlpool gold one was about 20 years old. I decided to go with this model in stainless since I am changing all my kitchen appliances to that, and with a stainless steel tub. While it cleans well, it doesn’t dry well. There are always items that are wet and I’m forever finding food particles on the flatware. The third rack is good in theory, but since the water doesn’t evaporate in this tub, we end up with items holding water on this rack. I do like how quiet it is, but would gladly give up the quietness for the food grinder in my old dishwasher to get rid of all the random particles I find at the bottoms and on the door of the dishwasher. I really thought this would be a step up from my old model, but sadly the older model was better. I’m disappointed that the whirlpool quality went down and will have to really think twice next time about getting the same brand when I have to replace this one.

Great dishwasher, however...
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this dishwasher because mine crapped out and this matched the refrigerator I bought last year. It has so much more room than my old dishwasher and runs so quietly! The silverware holder on the door and the small third/very top rack mean that I run out of clean dishes before it’s even full and needs to be ran, which is great because I feel like I ran my old one every other day. The only reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the heated dry could be better. My dishes are always still very wet after the dry cycle and, as far as I can tell, you can’t run the dry cycle by itself to finish the job. I usually have to leave the door open for a few hours to let the dishes air dry or dry them with a towel while putting away.

Very nice dishwasher
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I waited until I had this for a couple weeks to post my review. Overall I like this dishwasher but have a few minor issues First - the pro's about it. Its very quiet. My last dishwasher sounded like a freight train and we'd have to turn up the volume on the television when it was running. I hardly know this one is on. It does a great job cleaning my dishes. I do love the third (top) row. I put my knives and my longer spatulas and serving spoons that might be too tall for the cutlery rack. The stainless steel interior is very nice. My old dishwasher was plastic inside and after awhile the plastic just got worn. So to me it was worth it to pay a little more for the stainless interior. The Con's - While I love the new third (top) row, the middle row (in my old dishwasher was the top row) now has less room. For example, I have some taller glasses that used to fit in the top, but now they are too short because that row has less space (to accommodate that new third row). Its not a huge deal, I can put these on the bottom rack now. Much like other reviewer's posted, if you do not use the Extended Dry option with rinse aid, your dishes will still be wet at the end of the cycle. So I stocked up on rinse aid and just make sure to uses Extended Dry. I was hoping to put my plastic tupperware-style lids on that new top row, they fit perfectly, but due to the design of the lids, they just fill with water (even with extended dry on) The cutlery holder has nice holes to put your forks, knives and spoons but there are two rows and one has slightly bigger holes than the other. the handles to my cutlery only fit in the bigger holes. I would recommend when looking in person bring a couple dishes and cutlery with you, to see how things will fit. Overall we are happy and I realized that no dishwasher is ever going to be perfect, especially if you were used to stacking your dishes a certain way with your old dishwasher, you just have to figure out a new method and be happy with the good things you get with your new dishwasher.

Good washer, if you use specific modes.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this unit to replace an old GE Dishwasher that was not pretty. I wanted to match my refrigerator. I read all the reviews and decided to go with the non-smart model which is identical in look to the smart one. I have decided I do not want any smart appliances due to the multitude of reviews across brands and models that say appliance manufacturers shouldn't write software. Stick to making quality appliances. Also they are instantly out of date, and this isn't an iPhone where I will throw it away yearly for a new one. Now for the review, All of the other reviews are correct, this dishwasher will not completely dry all the items you put in the dishwasher. The old GE would cook away after it was done and pretty much make it an oven in there. even the countertop was hot. I'm convinced they have just opted for energy efficiency than having a "Cook my dishes" button. If you put it on "Heavy" "High Temp Wash" "Heat Dry" "Extended Dry" and "Sani Rinse" it is a 4:33 wash cycle (Yes 4 hours and 33 minutes) it does a great job. The dishes are almost dry. Keep in mind that is 6 button presses to start the washer. I find that if you open the washer after, pull the bottom rack out shake it, then shake the top, leave it for 10 minutes, its fine. The dishes are clean, dry, and the washer is also clean inside. There is a 1 hour cycle that does a good job if you do not completely load it up, and everything is wet after. There is no option for extended dry on that cycle (Annoying). The 8 hour cycle is no better than the 4:33, however it does use less electricity. Which brings me to the difference in this washer. I have energy monitors on all my appliances. this unit on the 4:33 cycle even with California ridiculous power rates costs 30-40 cents to run. That is HALF of the GE model it replaced. That is where this unit shines. It uses no power. The dishes are clean, dry-ish, its almost silent, and the inside of the washer is also spotless. Whirlpool- Remember what cycle I used last time and stop making me press 6 buttons. 6 button presses = Yes, I , Want, Clean, Dry, Dishes, Thanks. The only other issue I have with this unit is the reviews are correct. The silverware holder on the door DOES NOT WORK. move it to the rack. when its on the door there is always moist food trapped everywhere in and around it. Bad design, gross, don't do it. Don't mess with something that isn't broke. Leave it in the rack and be done with it. I only buy Whirlpool, but I feel they have slightly lost their way with trying to add features people will be annoyed by. Aafresh? Don't get me started. The new ranges? read the reviews. No traditional self clean? Read all the reviews on here and make an educated decision. They lost a almost 2k range purchase from me and I went with the 1k one. Cause I want it to work, not smart with a oversensitive touchscreen, no self clean. Just like this washer, 6 button presses and im happy. Why? Everything else is great. Get your 5 star review and stop changing things to be different.

Really happy with this dishwasher
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife and I purchased a handful of new appliances the Sunday after Thanksgiving and we both agree this is probably the appliance we are most happy with to date. It is very nice looking, very quiet and really does a nice job cleaning the dishes. It is not complicated to use. I would recommend using the rinse aid as it seems to help (we've washed with and without). It is definitely nice to have a dishwasher that actually does dry the dishes as well.

Whirlpool dishwasher
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We purchased this dishwasher for our new home. I love it! It gets the dishes clean every time and the dryer function works really well. I am rating it a 4, rather than a 5, because it takes 3 hours to run from start to finish. That is the only negative thing about it, but it is quiet, so it really doesn't bother us.
