I got this excellent dishwasher as part of a Whirlpool appliance package for my new home and am glad I did.
The unit is quiet and powerful. I’ve put some pretty messy dishes (with peanut butter stuck to some utensils) and everything comes out clean, dry and sanitized with the excellent Sani-wash and Sani-dry modes.
The utensil rack is very cleverly made and “looser” than on Samsung and LG units I have owned. This extra space for each fork, knife or spoon seems to help more effectively clean each utensil, which comes out spotless every time.
If you’re looking for a quiet, powerful dishwasher that delivers flawlessly clean utensils and plates, this unit is an excellent choice… and it looks sharp too!

Let me just say that I did COPIOUS amounts of research before settling on this one. I’m of the belief that this model is the exact same as the KitchenAid model that costs $200 more. They are identical inside and out and they have the exact same rating everywhere that I looked. My dishes have come out sparkling! I’ve never been this excited about an appliance. It’s borderline embarrassing. The third rack on top is a godsend! When we got this dishwasher we decided that we would experiment to see if we could get away with not pre-washing. This has been a debate between my wife and myself for years. I am shocked every time I unload this bad boy at how clean the dishes come out after they were loaded with cement-like oatmeal remnants. We just scrape the chunks into the trash and throw them in there and they come out clean with the occasional exception of a piece of stray lettuce that I end up easily wiping out with a paper towel. This dishwasher is great!

I had a Whirlpool previously that finally died after 15 years. I figured since my old one lasted that long, I would stay with the same brand. This dishwasher is really quiet and does an excellent job cleaning. I like that the buttons are on the top instead of on the front of the dishwasher. One con I see is that it takes longer than my old one to clean. For example: on the normal cycle with heating it takes around 3 hours. I usually just use the normal cycle without any heating and it still takes around 2 to 2.5 hours depending on how many dishes are in it. My old one would take about an hour and a half but other than that I am super happy with this purchase!

Amazing!! I absolutely love the fact that it has three drawers.. it really does making the dirty dishes a breeze. And absolutely everything is spotless when everything comes out. Absolutely stunning piece of machinery and it looks absolutely stunning and amazing too! It should be in the Smithsonian! I mean if you think about it, what did we have just ten years ago? Household machinery that only aesthetically looked as appealing as it had to, to get the job done. These days, form is, function. It really is quite fascinating. The computers and processors, servos and sensors they can put in these, lets be frank, pieces of functional art are them, themselves pieces of engineering marvelocity! What an amazing period of time we live in. - Rob L.

Very good at cleaning dishes. Very quiet. Lots of room for plates on the bottom. Still working on the best arrangement for cups and bowls on the middle rack; bowls lay rather flat and use extra space. Third rack not used since traditional lift out rack for silverware on bottom. Normal cycle run over three hours! Rinse your dishes and use quick cycle instead. Bottom rack sets lower than previous machine so get used to bending down. Run time and rack height seems common to current machines and not unique to this model. The wide handle is easy to grab and pull open the door. Display of cycle time remaining is nice feature. I like the heated dry option. Working out how to optimize space on the second rack is the most annoying item, so pretty good overall.

The reviews I read about this were right. This is a great dishwasher! It is so quiet and washes the dishes very well. The third rack is a nice added feature. The run time is longer than my other dishwashers but we usually run it at night so it doesn’t matter. I highly recommend!

Delivered on time. EZ to install. Washes and drys well. Price dropped 2 days after price match expired. Unhappy that Best Buy did not honor price drop. They should have tried to keep a long time customer happy.

We had a great sales person in Green Bay, Wi who sold us this dishwasher, and the contract installer who set it up in our Florida condo did an excellent job! Thank you for the great service and help!

We haven't had it for very long, but are impressed with it. Soap pods are recommended by Whirlpool and I agree with that. I didn't have any at our first use so I used the powdered one that we had on hand. I used the "quick wash", the lowest, setting to wash our range hood filters and stovetop grids, but it didn't clean them that well. Since then I have used the recommended soap pods for all our subsequent washes and it has worked very well. It is very quiet in use as compared to our old one, but it seems to take quite a bit of time to complete its cycles--around 3 hrs. on "normal" washes--not a big deal. I would buy it again.

Excellent dishwasher. I was surprised at how quiet the unit is when it's washing a load of dishes. Very well built, and has a lot more capacity than the previous dishwasher we were using. Overall a very high quality product.
