I am really enjoying my new Whirlpool built in 24 in tall tub dishwasher. It holds a lot more dishes than the Frigidaire Professional that it replaced. It is what I consider very quiet and best of all it gets my dishes super clean. And when I say dishes I mean everything, even the silverware and pots and pans. I'm 72 and I picked it up and installed it myself. I am very happy with the way everything went. Thank you Best Buy.

For the price this product has worked excellent so far. I'm one month in. The old d/w was just that "old" . Single sprayer at the base, plastic utensils holder that would crack, and the dishes just didn't get cleaned. I tore it apart and repaired items and finally decided to get a new one and turn this one into target practice.
Best Buy in Modesto was helpful and I bought this one. Luckily they had it in store because it was my one day to tackle the task between work and family and football.
Installed it and out dishes are sparkling. Very quiet. Utinsel rack is a little odd but a space saver to load more dishes. Plus I wish they made these utinsel rack out of metal
Good so far!

This is only the second dishwasher we have had in 28 years. This one is quiter than our first one and cleans well. Although this takes longer by 12 minutes for the minimum cycle, the reduction of water is a plus. It has taken a while to get used to the different spacing of the rack pins and the utensil rack in the door. Overall it was a good selection.

I bought this dishwasher when my previous one exploded. I was really surprised at how quietly it runs compared to the previous one. It was so quiet I had to check it twice to make sure that I had turned it on. It's spacious and cleans well. Definitely a good product at it's price point.

I purchased this dishwasher without being able to 'see or feel' as there were none on display. Needless to say I had to make a purchase based on delivery, not 'love/like' purchase. The Pro's it is fairly quiet, it did a good job of cleaning without pre-wash. The plus for me it has a quick 1 hour wash that cleans!
The Con's the door when you lower all the way flat seems to hang a little making it feel like something is 'scrapping'. Plus you can not adjust the upper rack.
But for the price this is fine. It cleans, It cleans in a hurry and it was delivered and installed quickly

We bought this dishwasher after our Samsung dishwasher, which we had for just over a year, gave up the ghost. And thank goodness it did! There was a constant smell of mildew every time you opened it.
Now onto the review of the newest part of the family! We did a lot of research before deciding on this one. We really didn’t have much criteria to go by, besides that it would have a silverware holder in the door (btw-you can put the silverware holder on the inside of the door, on the inside front of the bottom basket, or right in the middle left or right of the bottom basket), and wouldn’t smell like mildew. When we had this installed, we loaded it up and started it with trepidation. We stood there for a minute and looked at it, waiting for it to start. I finally put my ear closer to it, and it was actually running the whole time we were standing there! It’s that quiet! Our dishes came out beautifully, it didn’t cause a ruckus, and I didn’t really need to “prewash” all of the dishes prior to starting it.

Was easy to install and is very quiet. Cleans quickly rinsed dishes well and has a good rack layout. Does not completely dry the dishes when on heated dry section... solution: after full cycle completion, open the door and the dishes will be dry within 30 minutes or so unless it is plastic.

Took a flier on this dishwasher. Good reviews helped me take a chance on it. No issues so far. It was easy to instal. Looks good with other appliances. Not to loud and minimal vibrations. Dishes look good after washing them in the dishwasher. Will return to review again in six months.

We were in the market for a new dishwasher and this one was on sale and got pretty decent ratings. The stainless steel matches the rest of our appliances. We had it installed by best buy and the experience was painless. The installer knew just what to do and how to do it. Needless to say, we loaded the dishwasher and we are extremely satisfied with it's performance. Our dishes are really clean now and it's very quiet. So quiet that sometimes I forget whether or not I started it. The only downside is that it's not great at drying dishes. That is something that we are in the habit of doing since our old dishwasher was poor at drying. Overall we are extremely satisfied with our purchase.

We bought this dishwasher to replace that one that came with our house (also a Whirlpool). We installed this ourselves (no, we've never done that before) and it was pretty simple. I never thought I would say that I looked forward to running the dishwasher but I do! I've not had any issues with this dishwasher after more than a year of ownership. My dishes are always clean (and I admittedly barely or don't rinse anything before I put them in there) and it's pretty quiet. I know a lot of people always write about how loud or quiet a dishwasher is and all I can say is that if you're right next to it, you know it's running but if you're a few feet away from it, you would have no idea it's on. I really don't have any complaints and I use the dishwasher at least 4 times a week. I think I've only had to buy 3 bottles of rinse aid (it really does help make a difference despite my skepticism) so it's very economical in terms of use. The outside door is easy to clean and surprisingly, it's not a fingerprint magnet. Highly recommended and I'll definitely buy a Whirlpool the next time around.

It took me under an hour to install this dishwasher even though I had to purchase additional connectors. The washer cleans extremely well and runs very quietly. I especially like the silverware rack. I would highly recommend this washer.

Better Than More Expensive Dishwashers

Went to the open box warehouse event to replace our dishwasher AGAIN! We went the middle of the road route last time- not the most expensive and not the cheapest and we still ended up repairing the washer once and decided not to put more money into it. So this time we decided to get the cheapest one we could find and consider it disposable. Saw this one and liked the price so decided to take a chance. Works well (though we do clean/rinse our dishes prior to loading them) and is VERY FAST - heavy cleans in an hour compared to 4 hours for our LG, and haven't noticed any difference. Noise level is acceptable for us, we usually start in before everyone leaves for school/work anyway but even if we are home, it's not disruptive in any way and we have a kitchen/great room TV combo. Also like the Clean indicator light, which our prior twice as expensive LG did not have ( a little thing but we were constantly asking if the dishes were clean or dirty- maybe cause we clean them off so well before loading). Overall, happy with the purchase and performance AND THE PRICE..

It is VERY quiet and I like the 1-hr. wash, which seems to be doing a good job (I always thoroughly rinse dirty dishes before placing them in the dishwasher). I've only used this machine about 5 times so far, so it might be too new to rate its performance.
I do NOT like the way the latching mechanism works and I don't care for the looks of the grab handle. Perhaps a towel bar would have improved the looks of the machine, but that was only available on the more expensive unit with the stainless steel tub. Thanks to the layout of my kitchen, this white, plain-looking unit is not visible when you walk into the area.
Have had to press the Start button twice before it lights up to proceed--we now know to press harder on the second attempt. I really dislike the way the door doesn't drop all the way down when you open it and do not like to have to pull out the bottom basket in order to weigh it down! We are used to having the silverware tray on the door; however, because of the protruding soap dispenser, table knives interfere with the removal of the tray from the door. We learned not to put any knives in that area of the tray. I liked my old Whirpool much better (except for the dial--the push button start is so much better). I can only hope to get the same 22 yrs. of service out of this new machine. I have stayed with Whirlpool appliances because they have been so trouble-free in my present home. I hope by the time I need a new range, microwave, and refrigerator, they will be more attractive than this plain-looking dishwasher.

Have had this for about three weeks now and no issues. Have only used the 1-hr wash cycle (we rinse all dishes prior to washing), and it seems to do fine. We don't use the heated-dry, and dishes have some water on them after- but no more than the Samsung it's replaced that cost twice as much. The Samsung with all the bells and whistles had nothing but problems from day one, and the door seals failed after less than 4 years. Hoping for more from this, that simpler is better.
The Whirlpool isn't as quiet, but it isn't annoyingly loud either. Not crazy about the silverware basket in the door, but it's OK. I do like the wider-spaced tines; the tines on the Samsung were too close together making loading a challenge. Installed myself and was no easier or harder than any other I've put in. Make sure to get an install kit with it.

We bought this dishwasher brand new from Best Buy. Within 2 years, the motor was burned out and it took over 90 days before required parts could be found. The contractor Best Buy uses for repairs under their extended warranty (which I bought) was terrible - A&E in Concord - they mis-managed the whole repair process and finally Best Buy (at my urging in multiple frustrating phone calls to Geek Squad) finally refunded my purchase (because the exact same model of dishwasher, like its parts, was on backorder too). A&E sent us the 90-day backordered part hours after the Geek Squad refund was complete and the warranty was cancelled. Such a joke. I would not buy this dishwasher again - even if you buy the extended warranty, the experience of getting service will be horrible, the parts and dishwasher aren't reliable or readily available either. While it did work; it didn't work well -- often left residue on dishes (we tried numerous different types of soaps and rinses to address). Sub-quality product. I'm getting a different brand in replacement purchase.

My new stainless steel Whirlpool dishwasher is great. It’s sleek and runs so quite.. I’m amazed by the difference in this dishwasher compared to my old one. I love it. I would recommend buying this. dishwasher at Best Buy. We comparison shopped and they had the best price. I guess that’s why they are called Best Buy.
