I understand why the warranty is only for one year. About a year and a half in, the paint above the vent started peeling and I can see a little rust underneath. I guess their dishwasher is not meant to handle the steam that comes out of it, which is unfortunate. This is not a quality dishwasher and I would never consider purchasing another Whirlpool product again.

This is a very nice looking dishwasher and definitely better and quieter than the one it replaced. The only improvement I would recommend is to buy the next model up with the metal tub and better sound insulation to achieve a truly quiet machine.

I've had this dishwasher for about 2 months now and so far, I'm very happy with it. It's much quieter than my old washer. Cleans everything very well. I did notice that although it dries the dishes, some items are still a little wet. My old one dried everything so this seems a little lacking but nothing major. Overall I'd give it a B+

The dishwasher itself it fine. It looks good, is definitely fingerproof, and above all is quiet. Dishes, glassware, silverware comes out clean and dry. It took so long - 6 months to finally get delivery that I will reserve a final rating until it has been used for a while.

Overall, it was a really good price. After installation, it took some time before the auto dry really worked. We've had it for few months now and works great and lots of space.

Good product. Working as expected. Do not have power on and off button. Also, there is no rinse cycle only.

We currently have this dishwasher in a house that we are selling and we really like how the dishes and cups fit into the slots available. We replaced the dishwasher in our new home with this one and are super happy.

Compared to our last dishwasher this one is outstanding! It is very quiet for the price point The removable silverware caddy that can be placed on the door is also a wonderful feature, because it allows for more space for dishes.

Gets the dishes very clean and is pretty quiet. Allows you to delay the start, and controls are very easy to use.

First whirlpool product I'm not happy with. I do not like the way you have to load dishes and silver ware. Silver ware holder way too small. Only used 3 time and top sprayer fell off.

Definitely worth the price. This dishwasher looks like an upper end model with half the price. Works great the only downfall is that its a bit noisy during the wash cycle. Other than that a great purchase.

Ive had this dishwasher for 3 years now and finally feel it’s time to review and warn others - do not get this. The washer? Does the job just fine. But it started to rust at the vent area right after the warranty ran out. We’ve tried everything (changed dishwashing soap, chiseled away and repaired/repainted, turned off steam dry) and it still continues to grow and grow. Im so angry because it was very expensive and matches the rest of our whirlpool appliances…minus the rust (giant eye roll)

I wanted to add to my previous review of this dishwasher, I was very pleased with the technicians Best Buy sent to my home to install this dishwasher. They arrived within their time window, worked quietly and the dishwasher was installed in no time at all. Excellent job!

Don't say you were not warned! We have had this for a little under 2 years and it quit cleaning. We ran the diagnostic and came up with the codes F4E3 which is a faulty wash motor along with F7E1 which is the heating element. We could feel heat so we ran the diagnostic again and that code did not return. After doing some online research, we are not the only ones. So don't base your purchase off of a review from someone that has owned the dishwasher for under a year. (The warranty is only good for 1 year) There is no reason why a $700 dishwasher would have a motor go out in under 2 years. Avoid all Whirlpool! Our other major appliances (refrigerator, microwave and stove) have had issues too.
