I chose this Fridge because I didn't have much space to work with in terms of width. This fridge has plenty of space and the adjustable bins allows for a lot of customization. Was worried about the noise that some people reported but I was surprised that it was actually really quiet. Only issue is it's not very fingerprint resistant unfortunately. Overall satisfied with the fridge and whirlpool but my experience with Best Buy was pretty terrible. Beware that Best Buy hires 3rd party people to delivery and it shows. They tried to pass a used fridge as new as it wasn't even fully packaged when it arrived and had scratches and dents everywhere. Also the inside had smudges so clearly was opened before. The second fridge didn't get delivered with any bins that were advertised but thankfully unlike the geek squad, Whirlpool was able to sort it out through there Facebook profile. Don't hold your breath with Geek Squad helping with issues. Whirlpool delivered my bins within days of reporting the issue. Best buy said they would deliver the bins in 2-3 days and 2 weeks later, I have received nothing. Highly doubt I will trust Best Buy with another appliance purchase.

We had a noisy old 18 cu. ft. refrigerator with a small freezer. We wanted an upright freezer and a new refrigerator for the basement. We decided a large side by side would get the job done for us... one large unit instead of two. It has plenty of freezer for two people. So far everything is working good. Not a lot of LED lights, but we don't open it often. Being on sale helped our choice.

This refrigerator is simple, easy to clean and is working well so far. It's a bit loud but we are getting used to it. The stainless steel finish isn't finger print resistant so you will have to be wiping it continually to keep it looking good... The delivery team did a good job, they didn't damage anything, they took all the plastic and packaging off, installed it and took our old refrigerator with them.

We have a Samsung Side-by-Side (RS28A500ASR) that died after 4 years, our previous Samsung, four French door unit died after 3 years. So after two Samsungs we gave Whirlpool a try and we would have been OK with it but it was very loud, some cooling fan in the back. Really appreciate that Best Buy has such a good replacement warranty. We returned the Whirlpool and bought another Samsung. Now we have two Samsung French door units. We have resigned to the fact that appliances are 5 year items throwaway. So sad because all my parents three refrigerators lasted 20 to 30 years. They actually still have them in the basement, they never broke down, they just wanted bigger ones.

Took a week to get fridge delivered but well worth the wait. Installation and delivery quick, clean and efficient. Got it with no ice maker because I need the space. Interior is huge. I wish it came with more shelves and cubbies. Make sure you level refrigerator or have area were doors open freely because doors tend to swing out completely.

Great freezer space, but the increased depth vs. my old refrigerator is actually a negative for the refrigerator portion. Things are too far back to easily reach. I also think an extra shelf might be good in the refrigerator. The refrigerator is also noisier than my old one.

The first refrigerator that was delivered to us would not keep items cold in the freezer. Our ice cream was like soup. After calling Whirlpool we were informed that the warranty was void because the refrigerator was in the garage. We asked where the that information was located as it was not in any of the literature we received about the refrigerator The only thing we could find after we searched on line was that the refrigerator was to be kept in an environment between 55 and 110 degrees. A garage was never mentioned. We then called Best Buy and a lady there was so kind as to order us a new refrigerator which thus far has been working fine. My husband did some research and learned the problem is that there is a new kind of freon that is affected by the temperature outside the refrigerator and when the outside air is below 55 it causes the freezer to become too warm thus affecting the frozen food inside. Thus, there need to be a warning on the new refrigerators about putting them in the garage. It needs to be placed where the customer is aware of this and not in fine print about the 55-110 range.

Minimalist design, works like a charm. Fits my new townhouse, on a sweet spot of budget and quality and appearance. Have to be careful with rust accumulation on doors near the handles though. Still, it fits our budget, very spacious, works flawlessly.

Very happy with this side by side refrigerator and it’s very modern sleek design. There’s plenty of room and the shelving makes it easy to find everything. In addition it’s a great affordable price & I highly recommend it.

We bought this as a second fridge/freezer for long term storage and keeping drinks cool. For this purpose, it's great! With no need for an ice maker/water dispenser, the freezer has much more space than normal. The only negative is the drawers in the fridge side are flimsy compared to previous Whirlpools we have owned.

I purchased a Whirlpool side by side refrigerator two months ago. The model number is WRS312SNHM. I'm disappointed with the quality of this appliance. There are two very visable issues. The first concerns the grill at the bottom of the fridge. I thought it was damaged on the left side and ordered a new part. I have attached a picture. It sticks out and the top is open with part of the door mechanism sticking out. This is in contrast to the right side that is tight to the fridge and has no hole at the top. This very visable left side of the fridge looks cheap and broken. The second issue concerns the so called stainless steel finish which is actually on the door handles and no where else. The material on the two doors is so poor that using "a mild detergent" will not remove the finger prints and leaves streaks and smudges. My effort to use all kinds of products meant to clean the shiny "whatever it is" leaves an oily residue on the appliance and hands. These cleaning products designed for this so called stainless material simply does not work on this fridge. To spend about $1300.00 and recieve something that appears broken and smudged up all the time is disgusting. I'm in my 60's and remember appliances that were elegant, quiet, easy to clean and of high quality lasting 20 to 30 years. Today profit reigns.

I had a Whirlpool 24 cu in fridge for 35 years. It was still going strong when I moved and left it behind. I never had a single problem with it. When I started looking for a new fridge, this is the one I wanted. The reviews scared me off for a while. I thought maybe instead of improving over time, they technology had made appliances more problematic. NOT TRUE. This has all the good things about my old Whirlpool, and many improvements. Sise by Sides make the most sense. Having a huge freezer with most of it at eye kevel beats always bending over and digging through a freezer drawer. The organization in this fridge is unmatched.

It only lasted 4 years. And is not working anymore. Since the day I started using it it made a weird sound.

Good work horse fridge/freezer. Temperature swings in the freezer are a bit bigger than I like, but it keeps the frozens, well, frozen. And the freezer compartment is huge compared to many others in this size range. Controls could be more finely graded but it does the job. Do suggest you get 2 thermometers - it will help getting the settings where you want them.

Very pleased with this purchase. It’s a perfect garage fridge as there’s no ice maker nor water dispenser just like we wanted. Energy efficient and it keeps things VERY cold!! The only negative is that the drawers seem pretty cheaply made. Not sturdy at all, but everything else is perfect.

The fit and finish need a little work. You can tell it's a cheaper unit. As far as keeping things cold, it's doing a great job at that.

The reviews sure were right about how loud this refrigerator is. Sure hope it dont go out cause it makes constant loud noise. The front scratches unlike any other refrigerator we have ever had. Unfortunately you are lucky to get one to last 5 years now days. It just doesn't stay consistent on the temps as well. We did have this exact model in a kenmore and it was much better. We only chose this one because it does not have an icemaker. They are hard to find without one.

This refrigerator is very wide and provides plenty of space both the refrigerator side as well as the freezer side. Drawers and shelves are sturdy. Runs quiet and keeps steady temperature. I found this to be a really good purchase - good sale price too. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is due to fingerprints which are not easily removed.

Overall a refrigerator with big space and storage bins, everything was fine until it broke down within only 4mon of purchase... The compressor broke within 4 months of usages, the unit starts with clicking sound for a week and then the unit stop producing cold air feeds to both refrigerator and freezer. Called the manufacturer for service, had to wait a week, and then the technician came and told us they are not certified to fix the unit. Then I called the manufacturer again and pin point the compressor is bad. After waiting for another week, another service technician came and figured out the compressor is bad and they had to order it. so we waited another 1.5 weeks for another service. Call the customer service again and they were really making it like none of their business, nor with an attention to care to trying to fix the issue. Really bad experience for this new refrigerator and they refuse to replace for this defective unit, nor offering any extended warranty. The support and service is really bad, plus all the inconveniences and slow service to essential appliance like this from a reputable brand like this. I would not recommend this brand.

Seems larger then it is! Good space. LED light awesome. I wish there was a handle in the inside to close door. Instinct had you pull the side door shelf to close, I know eventually this will break. Also, door flys open and slams onto side. You have to open and grab door so it doesn't fly open. Needs a better hinge.
