Cheap parts
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The housing for the filter broke when I took the blue bypass cap off so that I could screw the water filter in. The blue cap was very difficult to take off and in doing so one of the prongs that affixes the housing to the inside top of the refrigerator broke. Now the whole housing just hangs. We have taped it to the inside of the frig and may try to super glue it. This happened the second day we had it. We thought the filter had already been inserted by the install people, but not. Except for that the frig is running well, producing ice well and the water that comes out of the inside dispenser is tasty. I would probably give it 4 or 5 stars if not for the filter housing breaking.

I wanted a simple fridge no bells and whistles, just the basics. Whirlpool fit the bill. Thank you!

Dissapointed with WRF535SWHZ Whirlpool Fridge

Seal around freezer door is separating after less than having 2 months. Plus Best Buy and other retailers have this model on sale for more than $500 off now and won't do any type of price match or refund. I have to reach out to Whirlpool Customer service to try to fix issue with rubber seal on door. So disapointed.

It seems it need some adjustment. It is always closing while you are trying to get items out of the refrigerator, sometime actually making you drop items on to the floor.
