Love the design and no ice maker (not needed). STOPPED WORKING AFTER 25 months. Not sure if this was a lemon or a motor design flaw. Lost about $90 of food. Repair coming Monday so we will see. Sure expected a LOT longer working life.

This unit has been operating for approximately 52 hours (2+ days) and fails to hold at a temperature of 40 degrees or lower. Upon opening the fridge briefly, the temperature rises and takes several hours to drop again. While I understand that an open fridge will increase in temperature, the device should be able to withstand typical household use. It's pretty bad when you retrieve one or two items and the temperature is negatively impacted for hours. Having trouble getting a prompt resolution in removing and replacing the defective fridge because the company only delivers to our community once per week. In fact, I was first told that it would be at least three to four days to have someone come out and check out the unit. Realized when we went into town and stopped at the store that we could just ask that the defective unit be returned and replaced.

Delivered damaged and still has not been corrected. Worst experience ever!

I bought the Kenmore version of this fridge but it's the same thing, just rebranded. I love that it has no icemaker which means more room in the freezer. The insides are roomy, esp. the freezer. It could use another shelf in the fridge, but i've learned to live without it. Magnets will stick to the exterior. The top has this foil cover over the door hinges, but they aren't secured so they tend to get tangled in my duster when i dust the top. I suppose I could tape them down. It does make a gurgling sound once in a while, I guess it's needed for the freezer, but I thought it was malfunctioning at first. Overall, I like it.

I have had this refrigerator for two months and every other week the temperature of freezer fluctuates 10-15 degrees warmer. I noticed defrosting and bought thermometers to make sure.

I replaced an older 19 CF Whirlpool fridge that was freezing stuff in the fridge with this one. I was happy to find a fridge without an ice maker or water to take up the freezer room. I love the extra space. The three drawers are nice. There is an extra slot for a shelf which gives you one shelf that has a ton of vertical room. That could be good for some, but I decided to buy an extra shelf to get more shelf space out of it. Take a look at the pictures on Whirlpool's website to get a look on the inside.

Pros: Simple and spacious; didn't need the ice and water stuff. The LED lights hurt the eyes but good for lower energy, less heat dissipation. Runs very quiet. Best Buy had lowest price and fastest delivery. Can use refrigerator magnets on it. If you need a basic side-by-side model this is one of 2 very limited choices - the other one is a Kenmore which looks about the same as this one. Cons: advertized (internet) yellow label says 401Kwh but actual label says 572Kwh; there was no floor model; the exterior grey/plastic is ugly - should have been black instead; handles are too rough; there's slots for more shelves and that makes you wonder if they're missing given there's a lot of gap; it would have been good if they included a couple of extra shelves - they are expensive to order as parts; had to wait several days after the order for delivery of the refrigerator; legs were not adjusted properly at installation - fridge seems to be tilted backwards; draws made of very flimsy plastic; the stainless steel is a strange dull silver/gray color; doesn't look like much design change/improvement over my retired 15 year old Whirlpool model. I don't understand why most people give this thing so many stars.

This is a Large NO Frills model. No Ice maker or water which is exactly what I wanted. This cools great. Let it sit at the mid-point for 24 hours after you first plug it in before you use it. I used some Taylor thermometers to read the temps. I adjusted up the Refrigerator side one notch and it works great. One compressor so it shares the air on both sides. Remember, you are buying a no frills unit that is large and cools well.

Needed a new fridge and bestbuy price matched a ken more fridge since whirlpool is same company

I recieved and love this refrigerator! Purchased ECKMF95 ice maker kit from Lowes and installed it fairly easily. When looking at pictures for this product, it makes you think the product is Energy Star, for appliance rebates thru electric companies, but the EnergyGuide provided with appliance, while showing same model, says it is 24.9 cu ft and NOT energy star. But everything on Best Buy website shows 25.2 cu ft and shows an Energy Star label with the 25.2 cu ft info on it too.

It is a new purchase, but so far so good. It is quite compared to my old refrigerator.
