    purchased this fridge because there were no parts available for my 5 year old samsung. Also cound not find parts for my 1 year old samsung washer. GOOD BY SAMSUNG...never again

    Fridge has broken down twice within a year of purchasing it. We had to throw away about $500 worth of food.... it takes about a week to get a Technician to come look at your fridge, then if parts need to be ordered, you have to wait another week. 1st problem: fridge was not cooling and freezer wasn’t freezing. Technician said it was a malfunction or defect of the main control board. Part was ordered but we had to wait another week. Total of 2 weeks waiting and fridge was finally working again. 2nd problem: Broke down about a month after being fixed. Same issue. As I write this review, my fridge is currently broken, AGAIN!! As I wrote earlier, it took a week for a tech to come look at my fridge. The Tech couldn’t fix the problem so they scheduled another technician to come look at it, again. Which is ridiculous in my mind. At this point im going to call whirlpool for a refund and buy another fridge. Fyi: the water trap leaks down the fridge and onto your floor. I read and looked at other reviews, im not the only one that has this problem.
