Whirlpool does not stand behind their products. we have gone through 2 refrigerators, the first one 3 compressors went out; we bought another one, and less than one year it went out. Never buy a whirlpool product.

Only downfall is super easy to scratch. I already scratched it with some of my fridge magnets. I never had a Stainless steel fridge before, so they may all be easy to scratch. I have no idea.

But, over time, the middle drawer for my fruits and vegetables gets frost build up in the back that causes the produce inside to freeze. Then, rather than help it last longer, the flavor is lost. Not very happy.

It’s well designed, the extra pull out drawers in the refrigerator and freezer are roomy and very useful. The ice maker and water dispenser is great. Prior to our purchase I read comments from others that the ice maker is noisy. I I don’t agree with that comment. The other refrigerators we had had ice makers that were noisier than this one.
