Open box means defective

Will check in the morning but not very optimistic. I mean really, they take a return in and don’t bother to check or ask if its defective? When I return this they will know it’s DEFECTIVE and I’ll return to see if it’s on the floor for sale, if it is I WILL MAKE SCENE!!!!

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought this Whirlpool refrigerator in May 2018, we are now replacing it. One year after a piece broke off one of the glass shelves in the fridge portion, six months later one of the freezer shelves broke. Now their is an issue with the circuit board, which is a $700 fix and so not worth it to fix it! Warranty is only good fir a year and after paying close to $3K I’d expect it to last longer than 2 1/2 years. So disappointed!!! I will never buy Whirlpool again.
