Sounds like it's trying to start or spin. Tried to unplug and reset. Still won't work properly, it seems to be an issue with the Control Board.

The water level is chosen by a sensor depending on the amount of laundry in the washer and it does state in the guide the machine goes through a very noisy process. No kidding!! It's not as simple to use as my previous Whirlpool washing machine. Positives: It has several washing options and I purchased it at a good sale price.

I extremely dislike this washer. My 30 yr old Kenmore died. Whirlpool made it so I stayed with Whirlpool. It may save water but uses the savings up in electricity. Most unhappy with this product. Takes all day to wash four 3 medium loads of clothes. Takes an hour per load. small, large or extra large. Doesn't matter.Total waste of my money.

Washer and Dryer are Whirlpools

I have read the instructions and still have issues as to starting and stopping. I wish I would have kept my old washing machine instead of replacing both washer and dryer. The dryer is very efficient.

A very good washer for its price bracket. The 2 gentlemen who delivered, installed, and tested it prior to leaving my home were both very kind, efficient, and knowledgeable.

For the price it’s a little too basic for me. We were in desperate need of a washer and this one was the quickest for pickup at our local store, which was still a week. For the same price we could’ve gotten an HE top laid digital one!
