Not sure if it is defective or not. Just don't have the money to pay for someone to look at it. It is brand new. Cleans the clothes ok.

Very Disappointed!!!

I received this washer on a Wednesday and by the weekend it was returned. Very disappointed with the product, I expected more from Whirlpool. Customer service was wonderful, I called and told them my issues and it was picked it up no questions asked.

I am surprised at how much bigger it is inside. Holds very large loads and gets them clean. What I am trying to adapt to- the instructions direct you to load the washer with your clothing and then add detergent, shut top and start cycle. I would prefer to get the water running in and add my detergent to it before the clothing. Everything has come out clean but I wish I could reverse these steps.

I'm loving it so far, but how long will it last?

For me, simple with appliances is always best, but this is still quite a bit more complicated that my old one. As long as you remember to read the instructions, and use the proper soap, it really cleans well. I habitually overloaded my old unit, but I'm going to be really nice to this one to try to extend its life. So, seems to be an excellent product, but how reliable and durable is it? Time will tell.
