The Whirlpool cooktop is not only easy to use but also SO beautiful! I have used Whirlpool appliances for over 30 years, including stoves, dishwasher, ovens, washer and dryers and my microwave!! Whirlpool is the only choice for me when it comes to appliances! This purchase of this cooktop was the best and easiest decision for me! I love it !

Looks great , makes my kitchen look much better and works great. The sales people at Best Buy are great. I got the best deal and it couldn't of happened at a better time. I bought an open box glass top stove at a super discounted price. I thought it had a problem and they exchanged it with a better upgraded stove at the same price. In my book that is good customer service. Thanks !!!

We bought this to replace an older Whirlpool cooktop that was down to only two working elements (after more than 20 years). Because our cats like to walk across the cooktop when they cross the counter, we wanted knobs instead of a touch pad. We have found this cooktop to be a very good replacement for our older model, and it even has the extra warming element that our older one did not. We choose this model because we really like the versatility of the dual elements, and it has turned out to be incredibly useful to have both in the front (our old one had one in front, one in back). We have used two skillets (large and extra-large) right next to each other without any issues. There are only two drawbacks to this model: 1) to be sleeker, the marking on the knobs to show the heat level is an indentation and hard to see. We solved this by using a toothpick to put white paint in the indentation, and now it is very clear. 2) our old model had a metal edge to make it flush to the counter whereas this one (like all the new ones) sits above and uses foam strips between the counter and the cooktop. The foam strip that came with ours was too thin, so it rolled back when the counter was put into place, allowing a gap where small bits can get stuck. A vacuum will solve this, but I would suggest they upgrade their foam strips (or buy your own better ones) for a better installation.

Purchased this as a returned, unboxed item from BB Outlet at almost half the retail price, like around $440. Full price seems a bit too high for my taste, though. Happy with it; good design and performance, good quality, sturdy and easy wiring. Just be sure to check your counter cutout size— the base of this 30” cooktop was larger than my previous. This cost me almost $600 extra just to cut the drop-in hole larger in a quartz countertop— there went my savings, and then some! :(
I actually like that this cooktop has knobs rather than digital control pad— less electronic problems and more straightforward. Like I said, wiring is easy, which I’ve discovered is quite important! Nice quality product.

Appliances these days, unless its just BestBuys fault, has horrendous quality control from the factory. The last hood I got was crushed at some point, im assuming at BestBuys warehouse and whoever damaged it repackaged it in a new box. I bought it and didnt check it because the package was in great condition. My contractor went to install it about a year and a half later and when we opened the box, it was crushed inside the box with no paint damaged or scuffed. This cooktop was bought at the same time and just got installed a few weeks ago and the warming zone dont work on it, which is a factory fault most likely unless it was damaged by rough handling at BestBuys factory. Because I have waited to install it a year and a half at this point, it is no longer covered under any warranty either BestBuys or Whirlpool so I will have to fix it myself. Sure, the issue is partly mine because I didnt check my appliances within a few days of ordering, although the contractor quit me and took a year and a half to start back however this is unacceptable for a manufacturer or reseller (ever which is at fault) to be selling so many faulty products, especially when they're around 1k dollars. 2 for 2 bad products is horrible odds. With that said, aside from the warming zone, the cooktop functions how it should so its a great cooktop with alotta options......if the options work. Dont do what I did, check your appliances within a few days of receiving so you can swap them out asap if needed.

Well designed, has a variety of settings so have to get used to which to use when, but like that burners quickly gets hot. Only wish it cooled down as quickly. Oh well can not have everything.
