The fan/recirculation is off set to left of the unit yet is has 2 huge detachable vents with expensive charcoal filters the right side has no suction what so ever more of waste of space/design see pictures with fan on and paper towel to show suction on one side and non what so ever on other

Works very well! My cabinets are not greasy anymore; I don’t have to clean them everyday.

my range hood is still standing the test of time.most likely due to keeping it clean and making sure everything is kept in order.

This exhaust fan is fairly quiet and works great. The design is sleek and the led lights are bright!

Bestbuy is very bad, I bought a new product but received a used product. I bought goods at bestbuy 1621 Monte Vista Ave, Vcaville CA 95688 And I have received goods 3 times, all received used goods, bestbuy all delivered to me the same old goods that I returned last time. I'm so tired of this problem and also lost confidence in buying from bestbuy. This was a very bad experience....

There is no suction on the right side of this range hood. The single fan/blower is only on the left side. They didn't even bother putting it in the middle so both sides get something. Not sure what the logic is in this design. If it weren't so hard to uninstall and I need a range hood ASAP, I would have returned it.

If you do not intend to vent this hood to the outside of your house I strongly advise you to purchase a different brand/model. The carbon filters that must be used for non-vented installations cost $65.00+ every 6 months and WHIRLPOOL DOES NOT SELL THEM!! Currently (9-1-2018) the filters are on factory back order so they are almost impossible to even locate. The filter part number is "W10905734" do yourself a favor & research this before purchasing this hood. Pros: Nice looking hood, strong fan, bright LED lighting. Cons: Finding the filters are a huge hassle, filters are very expensive, the LED lights cannot be replaced by the owner,you cannot install under cabinets that are deeper than 12.5", the sharp corners could be hazardous for a taller person. That being said if you are venting this hood to the outside of your house it should be a good to go.

The fan is not that loud and it works really good. The design is perfect for my kitchen it is not imposing. It matches really good my other appliances. The light is also good you can use it without other lights in the kitchen.

Easy to install. Had to buy the outlet cables separately since they aren’t provided. I do wish there was a 3 speed for the fan. Other than that I really do like this range hood and plan to buy another one soon for a friend

It looks nice, but it didn’t screw into under cabinets very securely.

This Hood is very nice cleans up easily the only reason why I give it 4 stars is I have brown duct into my home and you didn't come with the plate to attach to a round duct had to special-order because nobody carries this plate other manufacturers include the rectangular camphor and the plate to be able to come to round ducting

I can not speak to the longevity of this product as it has been hanging in my kitchen for only a week at this point. What I will say is that we bought it open box to get it cheaper and it said excellent condition on the open box description. It was indeed fine and came with all parts and instructions. It looks very nice in our kitchen and saved a lot of space where the microwave used to be. It is nice that this can be vented or not and we chose not to vent as there was no vent in the kitchen in the first place. I didn't really buy this so much for the fan as for the LED lights which do provide plenty of light over my stove. The only complaint I have about this product so far is the instructions could be better about how to mount it. We got it done though. It's simple, sleek looking, and looks nice and clean.

This range hood is very good and looks very nice. The price is pretty good as well. My only reason for not giving it five stars is because Whirlpool did not include the filter which is necessary, and it is not easy to locate one. We ended up making one ourselves. Also, I would advise letting Best Buy install it, as it is a little difficult to install.

This is a very nice range hood! Great Features: Excellent exhaust full width, AND great LED lighting I was concerned as I reviewed the specification on-line, that it was 7 inch round exhaust duct, as we had a previous rectangular duct of about 3 inch by 10 inch, but this Whirlpool range hood easily connected to the previous rectangular duct without any special parts or tools by an average "do-it-yourselfer" (that would be me)

This looked modern and sleek in the pictures but installed it looked like it is angled wrong being higher in the front than the back. Also makes the ckearance of the cabinet doors above it very very tight. I am going to by another hood and donate this one since i cannot return it.

I am very satisfied with my convertible exhaust range hood. It works great at removing the heat, smoke smell etc. from the room quickly. It is a simple design but has a powerful exhaust motor that removes any unwanted vapers. Its easy to clean and each button is labeled to see clearly.

Charcoal filters seem impossible to find, which I understand need to be inserted if air is recirculated rather than vented. The flat angle at top makes it harder to reach over to access cupboards above. Light is nice n bright but can’t be dimmed, which reveals every little imperfection on surrounding surfaces. Descrpency in mounting directions made it a challenge. Again...filters are needed!

Works as expected. However, I needed to purchase charcoal filters since it vents back into the kitchen. They were very expensive. I was disappointed that it did not come with the filters. I also would have like to have several lighting selection- it only has one. The fans work good. However it vents out of the top. These vents are very close to the cabinet door that are just above the hood. I am thinking that over time I may see a buildup of cooking grease on the face of the cabinets.

I really like this hood. Lights are very bright. The only negative is there are no other levels for lighting. Just hot and bright.
