But when we start it there is hardly any sound and fan seems to be very slow. We cant tell any difference when its turned on or off with the smells and smoke.

Great quality...inexpensive

So now that I can finally open and install, I realize I have to purchase a power cord and connect it myself. This would have been nice to know so I could have bought it at same time.

Upgraded our hood range

Took the old one out and connected power and installed the new one. Just needed to order the power connection since it did not come with the unit.

Good Quality product

Excellent range hood for the money

On high I couldn't hear the fan so I took it back apart to make sure it was wired correctly. It was, the fan is just so quiet you can barely hear it run.

It is only on or off. Bought the vent for the specified 2 light levels. Disappointed it did not have it. Otherwise it works as a vent just fine.
