Won't know how well that part works until winter :-). Wish the sleeve had been sold with it.

I went through a lot of trouble to get it installed. The unit isn’t functioning properly (doesn’t get cool, eco setting doesn’t do squat). I called today January 26, 2021 spoke with Geek Squad as we paid over $100 to have warranty only to be told if I want it repaired I WILL HAVE TO TAKE IT OUT OF MY WALL AND DRIVE IT TO BEST BUY FOR REPAIR. ARE YOU STINKIN KIDDING ME!!!! I’m a lady, and not capable of pulling it out of my wall let alone carry it to my car! THIS IS RIDICULOUS CONSIDERING HOW MUCH WE PAID FOR THE UNIT IN THE FIRST PLACE!!! NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND! NO, I WOULDN’T EVEN BOTHER PAYING OVER $100 FOR AN EXTENDED WARRANTY UNLESS YOU’RE WILLING TO PULL THE THING OUT OF YOUR WALL!

This winter the heater work up till 4 days ago now it the fan comes on then it turns off beeps never heating like it did it no good filter is kept clean but it is not working I am 65 year old woman and I am so mad because I cannot afford another 600 dollar unit.

Two have stopped working after only two summers. I will never buy another Whirlpool product!!! With these kinds of products, I am wondering how long Whirlpool can survive.
