Needs new motor in less than a year

Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This machine was delivered and installed (by BB) in my home on July 10th, 2018. Three days ago (June 16th, 2019), the spin cycle stopped working. Yesterday (June 18th, 2019), the Whirlpool repair man said the motor is shot and needs to be replaced. It's been ordered and will be installed this Friday. So far, I have nothing but positive things to say about the Whirlpool repair process. But, it just seems a bit odd that a new motor would be required in less than a year. It's only my wife and I, so it's not like this machine gets a lot of use. Anyway, please consider my experience when making a decision to purchase this machine.

I have to say I can see the difference in the clothes, they are the same clothes but definitely coming out cleaner than with old "aggie".
