Decent washer for the price. The only aspect I don't like is this washer doesn't have a detergent tray (I didn't realize when I purchased it). Makes it a little difficult to figure out detergent usage as it doesn't work as well on the bottom of the drum, versus using the tray. Also sort of loud... but overall pretty good!

It was hard to get uae to at first as, I thought it would still fill with water to capacity but, it doesn't. The clothes however, actually come out cleaner than with the old agitator washer. Like I said, hard to get uae to it at first and now, I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I wanted a simple, easy to use, and quality washing machine and this Whirlpool fit the bill. I'm a technologist and am a software developer by trade but I also appreciate things that are simple. I don't need my washing machine to have a touch screen, capacitive button, WIFI, or tell me a bedtime story. It just needs to sit there and clean my clothes reliably and not break after only 5 years. Growing up, my parents always had Whirlpool appliances that seemed to last forever so when I bought my first home and needed a washer/dryer pair I naturally sought them out. It took me about a month to gets used to how it washes clothes. The cycles determine the water level. For example, if you're going to load it half-way with t-shirts, use the "Deep Water Wash" setting instead of "Normal" otherwise there's not going to be enough water to clean properly. It will clean a single queen size comforter well. When loading bulky items or things that will potentially retain water it can be sensitive to how they are loaded so you must be mindful of the balance in the basket. I've had to occasionally do a second rinse for my larger blankets. I've used both powder and liquid detergents and liquid tends to consistently clean better. The only con about this washer is that I wish it had a buzzer to let you know when the wash cycle has completed. I love the knobs but don't let that fool you - like a lot of appliances, it still has a circuit board. With all that said, I highly recommend!

Handles large loads. Has multiple settings, but really easy to use. If it had a buzzer or some type of tone when the cycle finished it would be perfect.

We were so happy with our choice to go back to a top-load washer, as we have gone through 3 front loaders in a short time. It has been an adventure to get used to it again, as my options are certainly limited, since we only got a basic model. However, my clothes come out clean, and the cycles are not too long. I do wish that this washer had a buzzer on it to notify when the cycle is done. And, when blankets or heavy towels are in there, the washer dances around during the spin cycle, and it can get pretty noisy. Other than that, nice machine.

The washer and dryer are so easy to use. I also purchased the dryer partner for this washer at the same offer. They have an ordinary look but they wash and dry pretty well. I got them for the most reasonable sale price. I highly recommend them.

Washer runs very well. It is a little noisy but overall does the job very well. Has lots of room for clothes!

Big drum without the pesky agitator in the way. But the machine is built so this 5'4" short armed woman can reach the bottom of the drum without going on my tiptoes or crawling into the machine. Can handle big loads with ease.

I did a lot of research & looking @ reviews & than started talking to sales people @ different stores. That help to get the choice down to about 3 washers @ that point we went to best buy & talked to salesman to get it to this one but with all that we had to learn to do wash all over again ! First of all whats " HE" then we had to learn to read how to do the wash for which we have been doing for over 40 years . But with all of that this machine takes a little to get use to it does a great job it takes a bit more time to do the job but it works . Hope this Whirlpool washer last 28 years like the last Whirlpool did & it worked when it left !!!!!

Would be 5 stars if it was a little bit quieter. Lots of different settings for a thorough cleaning. Easy to ready instructions for use.

I really like that you can wash large loads in this washer. The washer can be a little loud at times but overall I am pleased and would recommend it.

I'm saving water and energy, and my clothing is clean. Loving my new washer. Some reviewers say it's noisy; it is at the beginning., but not so much that it's a problem. Really, the machine is just sensing how much water to use. Once the actual wash cycle begins, it's not noisy at all.

Excelent washer but more louder then the cabrio. Washes better then the cabrio though.

Great washer! It's economical but works great. Our clothes get cleaner than our front loader. I agree with other reviews-it's a little noisy.

I've only had it a month, but so far it works great. We only had one time where it didn't spin the towels dry, but we feel we might have over-loaded it since it has not happened again. We follow the instructions for the loads we wash and the clothes come out clean. It does help that it has instructions on the inside of the door of the washer. The tub is deep, but not too deep that I can't reach the clothes as the bottom (I'm 5'3"). The buttons are easy to understand and use. It does not make any noise once it is finished and my previous washer did, so this took some getting used to, but otherwise it works great. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Must say im quite happy with this machine. Deep water option a must when washing jeans, sweatshirts etc. Only really ridiculous feature is if you want to use fabric softener. you have to stop machine at end of wash cycle and add your softener at beginning of rinse cycle. there is no softener dispenser in machine. No one is able to keep running back to their machine to see where it is in cycle so as to manually stop it at end of wash cycle and b4 rinse starts. Just use dryer softener sheets. Otherwise i am happy with unit, have 5 adults living in my house. im 59 yrs. old

Great productwe are really happy with this machine it is nice and roomy hose lots of clothes I love the way it wash I would recommend this to my friends and family it's very quiet the best part about it is easy to use I couldn't believe the space that I have for watching

A very nice large top fill washer. Controls easy to use and it operates so quietly, it is almost to tell if it is even running. It does a great job of cleaning and without the center agitator, it is easier to fill and keep a balanced load

Old machine broke and because of COVID - hard to get repair people, and even harder to find lots of assortments available on short notice- therefore we ended up with this machine. This machine is loud and sounds like it is dying as it washes clothes. Overall the machine does what it is supposed to do, So over I am satisfied with the purchase. I just need to keep the laundry room door closed now.
