It does not remove cat hair from my laundry. Never had a problem with this on any washer and dryer I have had in over 40 years. I had a heavy hooded sweat shirt and the washer was walking across the floor. I am too old to push this back into place. I did but who knows what problems I will have. Directions do not show where to add fabric softner.?

Water does not come out at all if the lid is open. Most people like to mix the detergent with a little water first. It overall works good.
