It start with the placement of the water in, and water out. Water in valve is indented on top of a bar (back cover metal sheet that protrude out), if you use an "L" shape connector (I did), this "bar" will cause the hose to not connect correctly. The water out have to be manually connected to the include hose with a metal pincher, leaked on day one (I had to used plumbing gel to prevent leaks. The start button is rigid and hard, it will fail - My previous one did, it just complete got pushed into the machine (no more start button.) My previous Whirlpool fail after about a year, and I replaced it with a Speed Queen washer which lasted for about 3 years. I then totally forgot how horrible Whirlpool is. After this one broken down after 2 weeks, I replaced it with a Samsung washer, which I love. Anyway, hopefully I will remember to stay away from Whirlpool. Note to self: "Do not buy whirlpool."
