Had more features on a washer I had in the 60s

My previous washer was a Whirlpool Cabrio. When this washer was delivered, I discovered it was all manual with no auto dispensers at all. I had a washing machine in the 60s that had more features. I did not think they even made them like this anymore, especially not for $600

I hate the washing machine.

has completed filling and press the START/Pause button
to pause the washer. Lift the lid and add the measured,
recommended amount of liquid fabric softener. Do not use
more than the recommended amount. Close the lid and press
the START/Pause button again to start the washer.
IMPORTANT: Rinse option must be selected to 1 Rinse
with Softener or 2 Rinses with Softener to ensure proper
distribution at correct time in cycle. Do not overfill or dilute.

Can't complete a wash cycle. (Brand New!)

You see, this thing can complete a wash cycle, stuck on RINSE mode never starting the spin cycle. Re-install, reset it, nothing gets it to pass rinse. So, I emptied it just to find most of the HE capsule disolved on the bottom. Called for service, someone will call me within 72 hours.

Defective gearcase

Defective gearcase according to the repair technician that came to checked it. Need to order new gearcase, motor drive, drive pulley, belt, pulley shield. Don't know how long the repair will take.
