Customers are saying
Customers are impressed with the 4.3 Cu. Ft. High Efficiency Top Load Washer's cleaning performance and large capacity, finding it easy to use and a good value for the price. However, some customers noted that the washer can be noisy and that the lack of an agitator, less-than-ideal spin cycle, and absence of a fabric softener dispenser were drawbacks. A small number of users also reported reliability issues.

Washer offers a lot of options.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Washing machine gets clothes clean. I like not having an agitator in the middle of the machine. You can fit more clothes into the machine.

Very quiet - Uses less water - Works Great!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very quiet - Uses less water - Works Great! What else to say... We didn't want a front loader, one with the glass lid, or with all the computerized stuff, just a plain washer and this was it. Reasonable price, looks good, works well. Recommended.

Dont Buy ***
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gently used this machine for 1 year on gentle cycle! 12 Months after using it there were some unusual loud banging and clicking sounds. Suddenly the machine shuts off on the spin cycle. I called Whirlpool directly and they attempted to help me diagnose the machine. After several attempts to follow their instructions and the machine continued to fail, they tried to connect me with a warranty service provider. They will not-honor their warranty! Dont buy this garbage!

Great washer and great price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this to replace a ten years old GE washer which broke recently. We are very surprised with all the goods features this new washer has despite it is still a top load style. Price was also great and we are sure this will endure for another ten more years.

Just what I was looking for
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.when I looked for a machine I started looking at the fancy machine but then was reminded I wasn't buying a cell phone so why buy that brand. I just wanted a machine that didn't have electric buttons. I am very happy with this choice. My clothes get very clean and it is quiet.

Having clean clothes is nice.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a simple washer. Didn’t want all those buttons and digital screens. This one fit the bill. Read reviews on how some people’s clothes was still dry towards the top of the load. I typically try not to over fill for that reason. Thing that caught me off guard is that you have to put in the detergent in before you put in the clothes. Haven’t had any issues with the washer, then again we’ve only had it 2 months. Did buy the extra warranty just in case something goes wrong. So far so good.

Very Happy with my machine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have only had it for a short time, but I am very happy with it. The room inside the tub is wonderful. My clothes are coming out very clean. This is my first HE machine so I had to get use to the sounds of a space ship in my laundry room............but other than that, its good.

Efficient and quiet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very happy with this machine as, not only it washes clean and has several options for varieties of loads, but it is also very quiet without any up and down movement compared to a previous washer I had. I have recommend ed this machine to a couple of friends.

It's ok, could be better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm used to the old school agitator style washers and was worried about how clean these would get the clothes, but to my surprise it did a great job with the clothes. Cons on this one though is that it's louder than the old school ones and you can't tell when it's time to put the softener unless you're right there watching the light indicators.

Okay washer.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It serves its purpose. Sits in basement on cement platform. If not for cement platform it would probably shake the whole house. I also didn't think it would be noisier than my 30+ year old Maytag but I thought wrong. It is loud. If it wasn't for it sitting in the basement it would definitely be going back. They just don't make appliances like they used to

Great machine so far
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve only had this machine for a short time but so far It seems to work great. The larger loads do cause a bit of knocking but that’s to be expected. Guys who set it up were awesome and very nice so don’t forget to tip.

Love this washer!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had a front loader for 10 years, hated it. So glad to get back to a basic no nonsense machine that washes clothes without all the digital bells and whistles and washes them well.

So far so good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got washer on sale, for the price and performance was balanced. Lots of room for washing and using HE soap to save on detergent

So far so good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The repair guy recommended Whirlpool to replace my old Maytag washer. I wanted a top loader with a good size capacity but not too expensive. This was basically the only one that met those requirements. It has no agitator, but that hasn't been any issue for me. It uses HE detergent and hopefully saves water as well. My clothes come out clean, so I can't complain.

Good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think it takes longer for a good review but so far it is better than any other top loader I've had. It was easy to hook up too.

I would recommend this product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this whirlpool washer. I read several mixed reviews. Decided to go with it because of the features and price. It's not as noisy as some say actually not at all. It clicks through its cycles. The deep water wash takes about an hour, so I don't use that, the normal cycle gets my clothes clean. Love that it automaticaly sensors the size of the loads and balances the clothes so they don''t get bundled up together. And the drum is much larger than I thought.
