Very good washing machine, very easy to select the type of wash and temp.

I love my new washer. My previous washer would not properly wash my clothes, tis washer makes my clothes so fresh and so clean. I highly recommend this product to my friends and family.

I went online to purchase a new washing machine when ours died. I didn't expect to get and energy-saving washing machine but I did. It is an excellent machine. No agitator had me a bit concerned, however, my clothes come out very clean. A great purchase.

Very very noisy. It will be OK if you put this washer in your garage. If it is inside the house, you should consider other model. I returned and replaced with a LG and it was so much quieter. The extra $100 worth it.

Water faucet is extremely loud in opening minutes of wash cycle.

I can’t rate it yet. I literally just received my new washer today. The first load went perfect but after the second load the lid would not unlock. I unplugged and plugged washer back in as I saw online so it could reset itself. It unlocked and I found my items sitting in like 4 inches of water. I tried to restart the washer on the drain/spin to get the water out and all that happened was the “sense” light kept blinking and now the “done” light is blinking too and the lid is locked shut again! I just want to cry!

I've had this unit for two years, two months and last night it began sparking and smoking from the back (from the backside of the controls). This tripped the GFCI outlet, which is what saved my house from burning down. I'm outside the warranty period and I did not opt for the extended coverage. I still went ahead and contacted Whirlpool to notify them that there is an electrical issue with this unit/model; I don't expect them to do anything about it.

Machine had to be repaired 3 times. The last service call was its demise. .To repair would cost more than a new machine. Service advisor observed that a direct drive would have been a better purchase. Washed ok while it lasted.

Clothes get clean. Machine is quiet and user friendly.

Do not ever buy from Whirlpool. We purchased this washing machine in 2023 and has never agitated - at all. We are on our FOURTH service call with Diamond Factory Services to get it "fixed" but all they do is determine there's some other random problem, because they get paid by the number of service calls they make, so obviously, they want you to keep calling, and keep making service calls. The retailers won't return their products because of this racket Whirlpool has with Diamond Factory Services. We have ruined countless pieces of clothing, and as a family of four with 2 under 2, we cannot afford to just throw away money on new clothing or another washing machine. They basically function exactly like the MOB - once you buy their product you are locked into their cycle of calling and trying to fix without being able to return or exchange their product, but it never gets fixed, and the only rectification they will offer is to extend your warranty to keep you locked in the nightmare longer. No amount of money is worth this level of frustration and headaches.
