I went with this model because I really like the removable agitator. I can take it out and easily load my bed comforter. With the agitator it cleans well. I came from a front loader which always had an oder to it. I was constantly running cleaner (Afresh) through it. This does not seem to have that problem.
As for the drawbacks it doesn’t let you manually select your spin cycle speed but, i have not had a problem with the machine going out of balance yet. The other drawback is it is a bit noisy. It gives an intermittent buzz…silence…buzz…silence when operating. I would rather the noise be constant not so loud.

This is my review after 1 month of ownership on this washer. Keep in mind that I am coming from an old and extremely noisy washer that I got when I bought my home. But overall this is a very nice washer. Our old washing machine was so loud you could hear it running on a quiet night a few houses over down the street. Not wanting to be bad neighbors I went out and bought this one and am very happy. Time will tell as far as quality goes.
Pros:
- Quiet
- Clothese are MUCH cleaner compared to old washer
- Removable Agitator is good for when you have large loads of laundry
- Volume on this washer allows me to wash a queen sized conforter, a king sized comforter and all the bedding/pillow cases in one load
- Soft close on the glass door is smart so it doesn't shatter
Cons:
- No smart functions
- This washer was $650 when I bought it but by the time you add in the warranty, installation and removal you're looking at close to $900 already.
- The glass door was only cool for the first few loads but I am writing this at 35 years old

I wouldn’t have bought this washer if I could have found another one I liked that would fit into the 27” deep closet I have. This washer is louder than my old one. And it doesn’t do as good of a job of spinning excess water out of the clothes and towels (they are still very wet at the end of the cycle). There is no instruction manual for the washer. I even checked the Whirlpool website. The lid lock is a pain, but I found a YouTube video that helped. You must press and hold the lid lock button for a second or so and release it. Then, it takes about 5 seconds for the command to register and for the lid to lock. I got this washer on sale for $160 off, so I’m okay with that price for this washer.

Excellent. It took me a bit to figure out how the settings worked. The washer is excellent with all sized loads and my clothes seem cleaner because of the size of the drum. It will easily fit my Queen sized comforter which is what I was looking for. The washer fits well in my laundry room and looks nice too.

Pros- I love the removable agitator (it was the main reason I bought it). It is easy to use. It gets the job done.
Cons- it doesn’t make any noise to alert you when the load is finished. It doesn’t have a soak setting, I was a surprise about this. It doesn’t have any way to let you know how long the load takes.

Washing machine does make quite the noise. Maybe it’s because I don’t have a base for it to stay put. Over all it washes my clothe good. It had a detachable piece that allows me to put in my blankets.

I didnt realize how much I would use a washer with a removable agitator. It works very well with bigger items like blankets or comforters. It was a but if a learning curve since our old washer was just that… old. I really enjoy this model and it hold a lot of clothes.

It’s a little loud , but it washes your clothes, cycle times are roughly 30 and the removable agitator is great for comforters . All in all not a bad buy, but only had it a month or so

My husband and I love this machine! It has a large tub that is great for washing comforters. If you’re short as I am, you may have to reach a little to get all of the items out of the washer but I don’t mind. I also enjoy the faucet function. It has a deep water option to use for larger loads. It’s efficient without being too complicated. We have a Whirlpool dryer also and have had no complaints.

Love the size of the tub and the removable agitator. If I had one complaint, and I really don't, is that it seems to be noisier than my old machine. Luckily, it is somewhere where it doesnt bother me. Still waiting on the backordered dryer. *sigh*

What a nice machine. It has a huge tub and a removable agitator. It took some getting used to all the new sensors and such but all you have to do is set it and forget it. Big loads are easily cleaned. I like the clear top so you can see what going on with your wash load.

I recently purchased the Whirlpool 4.7-4.8 Cu. Ft. Top Load Washer with the 2-in-1 Removable Agitator, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. This washer offers incredible versatility, allowing me to customize every load to fit my needs.
The removable agitator is a game-changer—it’s perfect for handling bulky items like comforters and gives me the flexibility to wash delicates without worry.
Overall, this Whirlpool washer combines functionality, innovation, and style. If you’re looking for a reliable appliance with smart features and excellent cleaning power, this is the one for you. Highly recommend!

Great!!
I do love this washing machine. It holds more clothes and does a great job.
Unfortunately, it arrived with a dent in the back, I haven’t been able to reach anyone to assist. I did keep the machine and it does a great job, I I didn’t purchase an open box one that may come with dents and scratches. I paid for a new one.

I should have opted in instalation as the discharge hose was not long enough.
Also wished for a QR code to scan operations. First use I ruined a shirt that i got so many compiments for it. things I miss no wash time count down. But clothes are clean trying sort out how to spin to get more moisture out for bulky items

I wanted to love this washer because of the removable agitator. However, I hated everything about it. The 1st one was leaking water. Exchanged it for a new one. Wanted to give it a second change. But my clothes seemed like they never got cleaned. They never fully submerged under the water even with deep fill and adding water. The agitation is weak and did not turn over my clothes. The same clothes stayed at the top the entire wash some barely getting wet. I tried it without the agitator for my queen size comforter and that was a joke. The top of the blanket didn't get wet and there was absolutely no turn over. I really wanted to love it. But is just not the one. Returned it for the LG top load with agitator and im so happy I did. Re-washed the blanket in the LG and flipped it upside down and inside out with additional clothes i left out the previous load. This machine is mediocre and not worth the money. I wish i could include a video of it washing the blanket it was just horrible

This washer works great. It has never gone off balance. The ability to remove the agitator for queen size bedding, the faucet to prerinse or add water to a cycle are really convenient. The glass top allows you to see if you have added too little or too much soap as well as decide if you want to add extra water. It's also quieter than other machines I have had. Obviously the most important part is the items come out clean and undamaged.
